Are you getting stiff,
achy joints? Be kind to your joints so they will be kind to you! There are a
few natural methods to help reduce pain, inflammation, and increase mobility in
the joints. By combining some key nutrients with a couple simple dietary
changes, you'll notice a big improvement in your joints!
If you're already taking medication for joint pain, you'll be happy to learn
that you CAN naturally wean off these dangerous drugs and use natural
supplements instead. (Always work with your health care practitioner as you are
weaning off medications).
NEW Solutions for Arthritis and Osteoarthritis We have a few new supplements which help slow down the
degenerative process of arthritis, and improve it.
Solution 1: Mild joint pain
Quite often, clients with minimal amounts of joint pain or stiffness tell us
taking the right dose of a good quality Omega-3 Fish Oils daily is
helpful for their joint inflammation.
A great Omega-3 Fish Oil is Super EFA
Liquid by Genestra. We recommend you take 1-2 teaspoons per day
since research shows 2.6 g significantly helps arthritis sufferers. (Arthritis
& Rheumatism 1994 V.37(6))
Solution 2: Moderate Joint Pain
If fish oil is not enough, then it's time to add in Gluchondro Formula tablets to take with your
Fish Oil. In other words - Super EFA Liquid + Gluchondro Formula.
Gluchondro
Formula provides therapeutic levels of glucosamine and chondroitin
to support structural joint health. Both have been shown to have beneficial
effects on cartilage and joint health. More specifically, they help to relieve
occasional joint pain, promote mobility and help to protect against the
deterioration of cartilage. Great to add to your day if you are already taking
your fish oil!

Pain and stiffness in
your joints can be dramatically improved by eliminating certain foods in your
diet which cause inflammation. Most of us don't realize that simple things like
gluten
(found in all wheat products), sugar, soy, some nuts and high
fructose corn syrup cause inflammation in the joints.
Please schedule a 30-minute
appointment with the nutritionist to get a customized meal plan
including a customized list of foods you should be consuming and those you
should avoid. Here are some basic guidelines:
Anti-Inflammatory Diet
- Reduce/Eliminate sugar and all process carbohydrates.
- Reduce/Eliminate
gluten, and inflammatory protein found in wheat products.
- Eliminate soy.
- Reduce/Eliminate casein.
- Increase healthy fats such as butter or ghee, avocados, nuts,
seeds, olives, etc.
- Increase omega-3 rich foods such as walnuts, free range eggs,
poultry and meat, fatty
wild caught fish, flax, etc.
- Increase organic
and grassfed sources of protein.
- Increase raw vegetables and fruits.
- Repair gut with homemade bone broth and foods rich in
probiotics (fermented foods) such as home-made yogurt or kefir from raw milk,
cultured vegetables and juices.
- On an empty stomach, consume pineapple and/or papaya daily.
Understanding
OsteoArthritis
Osteoarthritis symptoms
include joint pain, swelling and/or stiffness in a joint (especially after
use), joint discomfort before or during a change in the weather, bony lumps on
the fingers, and loss of joint flexibility. The joints most often affected
include the fingers, spine, hips, ankles, feet, and knees.
If you are obese, have food allergies, have weak muscles, cartilage disorders,
and/or have malformed joints, then you have an increased risk of developing
osteoarthritis.
When your body cannot regenerate enough cartilage, the new bone grows alongside
the existing bone, causing small lumps to form. Although these lumps cause
minimal if any pain, they may be disfiguring and limit the joint's mobility.
