Rockwell's BV Protocol: Nutritional Supplement Program for Bacterial Vaginosis with Instructions
Part 1: Kill harmful bacteria A) Yeast Arrest by Vitanica (Boric Acid suppositories with immune herbs) Days 1-14+ The Yeast Arrest Boric Acid is typically used for 4-14 days and up to 2 months, once or twice daily, ideally before bed. Boric Acid can kill off a few of the good strains of bacteria (but significantly fewer than antibiotics, and no negative side effects like anti-fungal medications have), and then Part 2 will replenish the flora. The length of time to take Boric Acid depends on the severity of the infection. Some women have had success in just a few days while others have used Boric Acid for 1-2 months. Use a panty liner. Modify your treatment time based on symptom relief. If pregnant, consult with your OB/GYN or health care practitioner before use.
B) Alli-Cinn (Garlic's Allium sativum extract + Cinnamon Oil) by Pharmax Days 1-30+ This powerful plant antimicrobial combination will help kill off pathogenic strains of bacteria (and yeast) in the GI and vaginal canal without upsetting the body’s beneficial bacteria. Take 1 capsule twice daily with meals. After symptoms improve, a maintenance dose of 1 capsule daily can be taken. (always take with plenty of water. Safe during pregnancy 1 per day.)
Part 2: Re-implant the good bacteria A) HLC Intensive capsules by Pharmax (to be used as Acidophilus suppository) Days 14-30 (or after finishing Part 1A) HLC Intensive caps contain strains of Acidophilus which are far superior to the commonly available dairy or animal based probiotic which do not adhere as well to human cells. Instructions: Each night before bed, insert a capsule into the vagina using a clean finger or applicator. Insert about as far up as a tampon would normally go. B) HLC High Potency Powder Probiotic by Pharmax Days 1-90+ Active dose: 1/2 tsp. twice daily after meals (or 1 tsp per day) Maintenance dose: ½ tsp daily. ALL probiotics are very safe and especially recommended during pregnancy & lactation.
OR HLC Intensive capsules by Pharmax (Acidophilus, B. bifidum, and B.lactis) Days 1-90+ Active dose: 1 capsule twice daily, after meals. Maintenance dose: 1 capsule daily.
Both these Human Lactic Commensals (HLC) probiotics will colonize in the GI and vaginal canal to re-establish a good balance of flora in the system. Dysbiosis and pathogenic bacteria in the intestines spread to the vaginal canal via normal migration, thus intestinal health must be targeted. Part 3: Bind and excrete toxins, yeast, and harmful bacteria with fiber and/or greens (highly suggested but optional) Days 1-30+ Intestinal Purifier—fiber blend with toxin binders. Use 1 scoop daily (i.e. 30 min before bed). and/or PaleoGreens powder by DFH—1 Tablespoon daily on an empty stomach (30 min before a meal, or 2 hours after). Part 4: Immune System Support (optional for resistant cases of BV) Days 1-60+ Women with a weaker immune system are more prone to Bacterial Vaginitis and yeast infections. This herbal supplement will help boost the immune system so the body will combat infections more effectively.
Immunitone Plus by DFH Dosage: 3 capsules daily between meals. Can be taken at the same time as PaleoGreens.
And, EXERCISE at least 3x per week which boosts immune strength!

Part 5: Maintenance Protocol
Once the Bacterial Vaginitis is under control, you can begin the maintenance program. Take one HLC Intensive capsule daily after a meal (or ½ tsp HLC Powder), and use HLC Intensive caps (used vaginally) 2-4x per month or during the times in your cycle you feel you are most likely to get a re-occurrence (i.e. during the end of your period). Keep Yeast Arrest Boric Acid on hand in case you do see any signs of re-occurrence. Keep your GI healthy and bowels moving regularly to eliminate toxins.
Other Tips: *If it seems that sexual activity brings on a Bacterial Vaginitis re-occurrence, you may want to use a condom (to prevent semen from changing the acidity of the vagina), and HLC Intensive caps (used vaginally) after intercourse before bed since this would help re-establish good flora and balance pH in the vagina. The caps can be used once or twice daily. (Please note that a small percentage of women are sensitive to latex, which can further irritate the vaginal tissues. If you think this may be affecting you, use a latex-free condom.)
* If you notice a faint odor returning, use a Yeast Arrest Boric Acid suppository. You may use one or two every 12 hours until symptoms subside. Follow with HLC Intensive caps (used vaginally) to replenish the good bacteria. (i.e. 1-7 days Boric Acid, then 1-6 days HLC Intensive caps). Some women have success just using HLC Intensive caps upon first sign of a re-occurrence. Try this first to see if it works for you.
* Take an apple cider vinegar Sitz Bath twice a day. Read more about Sitz Bath Here. Add 1/3 to 1/2 cup of organic raw apple cider vinegar in the sitz bath, bidet, or plastic basin. If you are using a regular full bath tub, you'll need 2 full cups. When symptoms of BV are under control, you can cut back the baths to once a day.
*Diet and lifestyle are very important for long term remission of BV since dysbiosis in the intestines (i.e. Candida) can contribute and worsen BV. Dysbiosis can result from consuming too many refined carbohydrates and junk foods including fast food, sugar, desserts, packaged processed foods, fructose, corn syrup, candy, soft drinks, wine, beer, flour products, fruit (except cranberries, lemons, and other low glycemic fruit), and fruit juices. Avoid these foods to keep your beneficial flora in balance, and to keep your immune system strong. Focus on eating fresh green vegetables, salads, and healthy protein such as organic chicken, turkey, meat, fish, and eggs. Don't forget to EXERCISE at least 3x per week which boosts immune strength! Optimal health is attained through a lifestyle approach.
Yeast Arrest Boric Acid Boric Acid Plus (Yeast Arrest) has successfully been used to treat difficult cases of vaginal yeast infections and Bacterial Vaginosis. Boric acid is a safe chemical substance with mild antiseptic properties. In one study of 100 women with chronic yeast vaginitis that had failed to respond to treatment with over-the-counter or prescription antifungal medicines, 98% of the women successfully treated their infections with boric acid capsules inserted into the vagina twice per day for two to four weeks. What is Bacterial Vaginosis (BV)?
Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) is a condition in which the natural flora of the vagina is disrupted and replaced by the overgrowth of an undesirable type of bacteria, usually Gardnerella vaginalis. It is the most common vaginal infection in women of childbearing age (according to the CDC).
Symptoms of BV include:
Vaginal discharge may become grey (or white) and thin in consistency
Unpleasant vaginal odor (amine or fishy smell), most noticeable after sex
Vulvoginal itching, burning, swelling, or irritation
Some women with BV experience no symptoms at all
How Did I Get Vaginosis? The health of the vaginal canal is often a reflection of the condition of the entire body. A healthy vagina has a balance of many different kinds of bacteria. This balance of normal flora tends to keep the vagina slightly acidic, making the pH of the vaginal environment less suitable for the growth of harmful bacteria. There are circumstances that may disrupt this balance by reducing the populations of benign bacteria in the vagina, or by introducing undesirable bacteria into the vagina from an outside source, making an infection with BV more likely. These can include:
A new sexual partner with different pH, or multiple sexual partners.
Antibiotic use, which disrupts the normal ecosystem throughout the body
Weakened immune system (stress, negative energy, food allergies, etc)
Unhealthy lifestyle and poor diet (weakens immune system & changes pH)
Altered pH and irritation in the vaginal tissues caused by: 1) douching, vaginal sprays, lubricants, and birth control devices (such as IUD), birth control pills. 2) semen 3) pregnancy
Contact with unclean fingers or sex toys
Overgrowth of harmful bacteria in the intestines which can spread to the vagina by cross contamination, such as wiping incorrectly after using the toilet (anus to vagina), or by vaginal penetration following anal penetration.
Menstrual bleeding often brings on symptoms of BV since blood changes the pH of the vagina. Yet, your period is not the true cause of the problem. It merely makes the symptoms more pronounced.
Women do not get BV from bedding, swimming pools, or from toilet seats.
Anytime you experience symptoms such as burning, itching, and/or an unusual change in vaginal discharge, it is important to be evaluated by a physician for a correct diagnosis before beginning a treatment protocol. (Usually a simple swab test is sufficient.) Other more problematic infections may mimic symptoms of BV.
As with any vaginal infection, women with BV are at a higher risk of contracting more serious sexually transmitted infections, such as HIV, during sex.
Is there a natural and effecive treatment for Bacterial Vaginosis and does it really work?
Yes! And we invite you to read all the testimonials. Most of our clients are women who have suffered with years of horrible symptoms and had no success with traditionally prescribed medications. The Rockwell BV Protocol has worked for the most difficult and resistant cases of BV.
Here is a research study abstract that discussed the effectiveness of boric acid for treating vaginitis.
The program consists of supplements and natural vaginal suppositories. It is an ideal treatment because it is designed to support the health of your body and improve its ability to ward off harmful pathogens. Commonly prescribed antibiotics use a different approach, they directly kill off some of the bad bacteria, but they also wipe out the beneficial flora which your body needs to keep your vaginal tissues (and other body areas) healthy and protected. Probiotic Quality: Does it really matter which probiotics I use?
Yes, the quality of probiotics is incredibly important. Many brands have been tested and found to have literally no viable strains or the wrong strains which do not implant in the vaginal canal. Unless you use Human Lactic Commensals (HLC) from Pharmax brand, you may be wasting your time. Pharmax probiotics have been extensively researched over the last 10-15 years and have over 5 published clinical trials. Taking the right probiotic can make all the difference in the world. Pharmax HLC probiotics are human source flora originally isolated from the healthy vaginal cells of a human (and then replicated in the lab). My clients have gotten great results using HLC strains (when other probiotics failed) since these probiotics implanted and colonized significantly better than the standard dairy or animal probiotic. The vaginal canal and GI tract recognize its own kind of flora, so it makes sense that Human Lactic Commensals (HLC) would adhere best.

summer (June-Sep), we automatically do not ship out probiotics or other heat

We will only ship orders placed on Wednesday or Thursdays if 2nd day or
Overnight shipping is requested AND the package can be delivered in the same
week. We do not ship heat sensitive orders on Fridays at all, any time of the

weeks and still be within label claim. This means if the probiotics arrive
very warm or hot to the touch due to UPS truck being hot, your product is still
perfectly viable and will meet potency claims on label according to various
tests done by manufacturer. Please do not be concerned about heat for the short
2-4 day transit. We have been using these probiotics for years after extensive
delays in shipping during summer months, and they are still VERY viable and work
incredibly well.

instructing us to require a signature, also provide a shipping address where

Are HLC probiotics shipped with an ice pack?
Dry ice or ice pack will be included within the box free of charge during the
summer months or when shipping to hot states (gel pack may be hot upon arrival
since it absorbs heat- this is normal). Yet, ice is ONLY FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND.
Pharmax's extensive product shelf life testing shows that after 2 weeks of
travel via UPS cross country and back to the testing facility, the potency was
still at 100% of label claims. The manufacturer states that ice during transport
is optional and not necessary due to their new freeze drying technology and the
addition of 50% more probiotic at time of manufacturing than what the label
claims. Yet, if temperatures are hot in your area in the summer months, you may
want to request an ice pack during checkout for your own peace of mind. If your
suppositories or protein bars have melted in transit, please store them in the
refrigerator upon opening the package so that the item will firm up.

Pharmax has added in 50% more probiotic than what the label guarantees per
bottle. For example, HLC Synbiotic Intensive is guaranteed to have 130 billion
L. acidophilus and bifidus per serving, but there are 170 billion present at

preserve freshness of your product for months or years.

I was desperate to find a way of controlling BV without having to go to the Dr (which I've done twice in the last six months only to be given antibiotics and find that it came right back) After much research on the internet I found Rockwell Nutrition and their 'answer'. It made a lot of sense to me how they advised tackling BV so I gave it a try. I have to say it worked!!! It seems to have 'started' to come back after my period but I take the Yeast Arrest for a few days followed by the Candaclear and I'm all good for the month. The Yeast Arrest is a bit icky so I advise using a panty liner. It's such a relief to have control of it myself! I went with the Alli Cinn, PaleoGreens, Innuitone Plus, Yeast Arrest, Candaclear and HLC probiotic -- purchased in one go it's a little pricy but absolutely WORTH IT!!! I keep extra Yeast Arrest and Candaclear on hand if I notice even the slightest sign (I'm so paranoid about it!) What a relief to be in control!! Thank you Rockwell Nutrition!

I bought the boric acid suppositories at the advice of my gynecologist after I had gone through three rounds of the flagyl (1 oral, 2 gel). I was frustrated at the lack of results from prescriptions and was willing to try almost anything. Boric Acid is a miracle product. I used it along with probiotic supplements and suppositories. It cured me in one round. Unfortunately I did get itchy again after a couple of weeks but the boric acid and probiotics were there to help me.

The HCL probiotics work wonders. If I take it every day, just one pill, my IBS ceases and I feel like a normal person! They help my son too who normally is very constipated (he also is autistic).
The yeast arrest did not help or make it worse. The redish goop that continually came out was a pain. I am not a good judge on this though as I believe my "issues" were caused from my Merina IUD which has been removed.

After almost 2 years of reoccuring BV and yeast infections; with no succes in curring them. I felt depressed about this embarrassing issue. I found this site and read over other peopel''s responses; which I decided to get on-board too- I am now 2 mos clear!
I started out with a whole body cleanse, then did a parasite cleanse mainly because I felt doctors were overlooking my gut as a source of bacteria. I purchased Alli-Cinn, CandaClear and Yeast Arrest. I used them in conjunctions with the recommendations this site provided.
I could not be more pleased with the success, thus far and even more glad to announce that not once have I had to con''t using metrogel. I recommend these products and the great resources Rockwell offer!
If you are reading this and feeling frustrated about BV and/or yeast; don''t there is hope!

I have had trouble with recurrent yeast and BV infections for several years. Knowing that the typical cream would not last long, I was desperate to find something that worked. Luckily I found this site...I followed my prescription medication with one package of Candaclear suppositories and I have been taking HCL high potency caps ever since. It has been 5 months and so far so good! I have also noticed that I have had less stomach irritability as well. Great products!

Since I started taking Alli-Cinn, my immune system has been noticeably stronger. The only problem is that it can be a bit hard on my stomach, so I take it right before bedtime.

The Candaclear suppositories are the only product in the BV protocol line that I have used, but honestly, they have been a miracle to me. Chronic BV was an issue to me. I was having infection after infection and prescription meds would only help temporarily. I took a chance at trying these and I honestly haven't had a single case of BV since, almost a year now. My sex life has been saved and I wouldn't do without these.
