Betaine HCL 750 mg This pure 750 mg Betaine Hydrochloride tablet is designed for people with compromised hydrochloric acid production. Ideally, Betaine HCL should be taken right before meals. Each tablet is coated with a vanillin pharmaceutical glaze because of Betaine HCL's strong odor. It is Not recommended for patients with ulcers or a history of ulcers.
Serving Size:˙˙1 tablet Each tablet contains: Betaine Hydrochloride 750 mg Other Ingredients:˙˙DiCalcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, pharmaceutical glaze, vanillin. Each tablet is coated with a vanillin pharmaceutical glaze because of Betaine HCL's strong odor. Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take one tablet before meals or as directed by your health care practitioner. This product does not contain: This product does not contain wheat, yeast, soy protein, gluten, eggs, dairy, corn, artificial colors, flavors, sugars, or preservatives WARNING: Do not take this product if you have a history of stomach ulcers or are taking medication for ulcers. | My son LOVED taking this supplement! It smelled and tasted like vanilla so he called it his vanilla pill and was always happy to take it w/ any meal! |

| I've been ordering this for a while for a low stomach acid condition and it continues to work well for me. Designs for Health is one of the few brands I could find made without pepsin, which I don't want since it's derived from pigs' stomachs. |
