Gentian, a wonderful bitter herbal, combined with betaine HCl maintains a healthy pH in the stomach, supporting protein digestion, mineral absorption, small intestine pH, and B12 absorption.

Contains: Betaine HCL (520 mg = 8 grains) 520 mg Pepsin 1:15,000 (Pure Uncut Pepsin Lactose Free) 21 mg Gentian Root Extract 5:1 (Equivalent to 250 mg of Gentian Root Powder) 50 mg Other Ingredients: Gelatin Capsule. May contain Ascorbyl Palmitate and/or Silica. Recommended Use:
1 or 2 capsules at the start of a meal or as directed by your healthcare professional.

| I have ordered 3 bottles of this, the first bottle I had 5-7 capsules that were broken, and I had to toss out. The second bottle seems fine. I take 5 a day to help with my low hydrochloric acid levels, and it's been helping. |

| I am taking this supplement at the order of my physician. They are capsules into which I'm supposed to poke holes in order for them to act faster. I don't know yet whether this product is doing what it is supposed to do. Suppose I'll find out next time lab tests are done. They are pleasant enough to take so I will rate this "good," but still have no knowledge if this product is effective on me. |
