The Pharmax range is the first to provide direct visual evidence of the effectiveness of digestive enzymes. Digestive enzymes are a mainstay in the treatment and are often a first choice with any gastrointestinal complaint. However, making an accurate judgment of just what effect an enzyme product may have on the digestion of the average meal is often difficult. Moreover, the units of potency used to describe enzyme products can be both confusing and of little practical use.
An additional problem is that, although the use of digestive enzymes theoretically helps to ameliorate many food sensitives and intolerances, there is little practical evidence from product literature about how effective they may be.
