Emulsified Finest Pure Cod Liver Oil is made by applying the unique WisdOM-3™ process to the Finest Pure Cod Liver Oil. This process results in a 50% improvement in  absorption! Thus the same level of EPA and DHA will be absorbed from a teaspoon of Emulsified Finest Pure Cod Liver Oil as compared to the regular Finest Pure Cod Liver Oil Liquid.

This emulsified fish oil is excellent for individuals with compromised lipid digestion, and the emulsified oil has the added benefit of tasting great due to the addition of fruit puree.

Link between Omega-3 Fatty Acid Intake and Bone Mineral Density

Self-Reported Dietary Intake of Omega-3 Fatty Acids and Association with Bone and Lower Extremity Function

Summary:  In a cross-sectional study involving 118 male and 129 female older adults, subjects consuming lower levels of omega-3 fatty acids intake (<1.27 g/d) were found to have lower BMD (bone mineral density), as compared to subjects with higher omega-3 fatty acids intake. The mean reported intake of omega-3 fatty acids in this group of older adults was low overall (1.27 g/d). No independent relationship was found between omega-3 fatty acid intake and lower extremity function. The authors conclude, "Results from this preliminary report are promising and suggest further investigation."
