HLC Candaclear™ Lozenges are a natural probiotic vaginal suppository, which has been specifically designed for women who experience vaginal discomfort. HLC Candaclear™ contains two natural components (Lactobacillus acidophilus and allicin) that quickly and effectively re-establish and maintain the protective Lactobacillus microflora in the vaginal tract. An impressive product. It's the only human strain acidophilus probiotic suppository available in the US. The testimonials from my clients speak for themselves.
Pharmax uses two strains of the L. acidophilus bacteria in the Candaclear product, CUL 21 and CUL 60. It is the same L. acidophilus strains that they use in all their probiotic products. They test ALL their products for unwanted microbes. The probiotic meet the specification of no E. coli per 10g, which is also the case for Candaclear. The lining of the healthy vagina supports a vast population of “friendly” bacteria,
the most abundant of which are a type called the lactobacilli. These lactobacilli,
especially lactobacillus acidophilus, are now recognised as the most important defense
mechanism in maintaining vaginal health and hygiene. They achieve this by attaching
in large numbers to the surface of the vaginal wall, so forming a ‘protective layer’.
In addition, they produce substances such as hydrogen peroxide that help maintain
this population dominance.
However, under some circumstances, e.g. following antibiotic therapy or in conditions
of raised estrogen levels, the beneficial flora can be depleted or disrupted causing
an unhealthy imbalance and a reduction in the naturally hygienic condition.

Lactobacillus acidophilus – each suppository contains over 100 million living organisms,

We suggest that you select 2nd Day Air or Overnight during the summer months or if you live in a hot state (any month). If not, your probiotics or suppositories may arrive 5-7 days later and may be warm or hot to the touch. We cannot replace or refund warm/hot packages. During the summer (June-Sep), we automatically do not ship out probiotics or other heat sensitive orders placed after 1pm EST on Tuesday will ship the following Monday. We will only ship orders placed on Wednesday or Thursdays if 2nd day or Overnight shipping is requested AND the package can be delivered in the same week. We do not ship heat sensitive orders on Fridays at all, any time of the year. (unless you request otherwise in "Order Comments" and providing that you do not mind that your package will be held in the shippers non-airconditioned warehouse during the weekend). We want to minimize the amount of time your probiotics are in transit. Yet, the manufacturer has increased stability with new freeze drying technology allowing the probiotics to last over 6 months at room temperature holding their GUARANTEED minimum potency on label.
In addition,at 90-100 degrees Fahrenheit it can be stored 3-4 weeks and still be within label claim. This means if the probiotics arrive very warm or hot to the touch due to UPS truck being hot, your product is still perfectly viable and will meet potency claims on label according to various tests done by manufacturer. Please do not be concerned about heat for the short 2-4 day transit. We have been using these probiotics for years after extensive delays in shipping during summer months, and they are still VERY viable and work incredibly well.

If you live near the West coast, your Pharmax probiotics are shipped from Redmond, WA. If not, from Bedford, NH. If you purchased other brands along with Pharmax (such as Yeast Arrest by Vitanica), your order will come from NH.
If you are still concerned about the heat, and if you do not want your package left without a signature, please include a note in the comments instructing us to require a signature, also provide a shipping address where there will be someone available to sign and/or bring your package in from the sun.
Are HLC probiotics shipped with an ice pack? Dry ice or ice pack will be included within the box free of charge during the summer months or when shipping to hot states (gel pack may be hot upon arrival since it absorbs heat- this is normal). Yet, ice is ONLY FOR YOUR PEACE OF MIND. Pharmax's extensive product shelf life testing shows that after 2 weeks of travel via UPS cross country and back to the testing facility, the potency was still at 100% of label claims. The manufacturer states that ice during transport isoptional andnot necessary due to their new freeze drying technology and the addition of 50% more probiotic at time of manufacturing than what the label claims. Yet, if temperatures are hot in your area in the summer months, you may want to request an ice pack during checkout for your own peace of mind. If your suppositories or protein bars have melted in transit, please store them in the refrigerator upon opening the package so that the item will firm up. We cannot refund or replace warm/hot packages.
Pharmax has added in 50% more probiotic than what the label guarantees per bottle. For example, HLC Synbiotic Intensive is guaranteed to have 130 billion L. acidophilus and bifidus per serving, but there are 170 billion present at time of manufacturing and it is kept frozen until shipping.

How do I travel with and store my HLC probiotics? We highly recommend you take your probiotics with you on all trips and vacations since their potency will last for up to 6 months at room temperature un-refrigerated. But, when possible and if convenient, we recommend you store your probiotics in the freezer or refrigerator, especially if you plan to preserve freshness of your product for months or years.

I have tried everything, and I mean everything... every type of prescription, homeopathic remedy, etc. This is the only thing that ever fully clears up a yeast or bacterial infection time and time again. Use this in combination with the Yeast Arrest and the herbal douche, as well as probiotics. Both regimens they outline here at Rockwell for yeast and bacterial infections are the best, most thorough, healthiest and most successful you can find anywhere. I have tried all of the products in both regimens and they far and away beat any prescription or other homeopathic remedy out on the market today.

All the OTC and prescription medications available no longer work for me due to having so many reoccurring yeast infections. I purchased these along with the Yeast Arrest suppositories. I used the YA as suggested and then used the candaclear afterwards. This has really made a huge difference. I thought nothing was going to help. I also use these after sex to keep everything in check. Along with some adjustments in my diet (less sugar and carbs), this product has definitely helped.

Doctors will always give antibiotics to cure bv and all it does it makes things worse. This product along with HLC probiotics are great for keeping infections away in a natural manner after you complete the BV treatment outlined on this website.

this is a good product. soothing and supportive to the tissues, particularly when following a round of antibacterials or boric acid. I can''t say they solved my issues on their own, but I''d say they''re a good part of a total health package for vaginal health.

I''ve used this product as a preventative since I discovered this product after getting a BV flare up under control. So far, no problems! It is hard finding a vaginal probiotic like this on the market, and I am impressed that the probiotic(s) used in this product are cultured from naturally occuring vaginal strains. And, any discharge from the product doesn''t stain underwear, which is a plus. One negative is the product applicator; I haven''t used it because it seems like it could be painful (I''m small and sensitive there), so I insert the product with my finger.
Good natural product if you don't want to use chemical ones!

I have never had vaginal problems/infections before in my life but since I have dealing with perimenopause I have been experiencing vaginal discomfort (dryness, infections). This products helps restore the flora. It is worth trying!

after reading a scientific publised article on resistant yeast infections in women I tried this product in combo with Yeast Arrest suppositories and have had excellent results. The resistant yeast tend to be another speicies like candida glabrata so getting the normal candida albacans back in after providing the right environment with yeast arrest works great.

Since undergoing early menopause caused by breast cancer chemotherapy, I have been plagued with yeast infections that cause a great deal of discomfort. CandaClear (and HMF Candigen, now only available in Canada) have helped tremendously. I keep it on hand and use it regulary.
