Summary of HLC Probiotic types:

• HLC Neonate Infants 6g. Ideal for age 0-12 months since contains Infantis and acidophilus strains. Easily mixes into beverage or food, and can be taken right off the spoon or finger. Ideal for those with gastrointestinal upsets including acid reflux, vomiting/excessive spit-up, gas, indigestion, constipation, diarrhea, or sensitivities to certain foods including dairy.
• HLC Intensive caps or HLC Synbiotic Packets (powder)-->Most potent for intensive healing phase.
  • HLC Intensive caps--> Contain no FOS, thus ideal for beginning colonization of a very depleted system for first 10 days of treatment. Recommended for those with severe Candida, and post antibiotic use, or those with a lot of gas). Typically used in dose of 3 per day for 10 days before moving onto HLC High Potency for 1-6 months.
  • HLC Synbiotic Packets--> Powder packets contain 4.5 tsp probiotic each offering convenience for those needing large daily dosing. Typically used to aggressively re-colonize during and after antibiotics or advanced GI concerns such as IBS, Leaky Gut, Crohn's, and infections.
• High Potency Powder-->Most economical $ dollar per gram, and no binders or fillers. Can be used for maintenance or aggressive re-colonization.
• High Potency Capsules-->More convenient for travel, 1/3 less FOS than powder form.
• HLC Mindlinx Powder or Capsules-->Includes additional strains specifically for breaking down gluten and casein.
• HLC Maintenance caps--> Most economical for maintenance of good flora.

These HLC probiotics are my absolute favorites. In my 11 years in the industry, I have not found any brands that work as well as these for my self and my clients.

These Human Lactic Commensals (HLC) are human-derived strains including Lactobacillus acidophilus and Lactobacillus bifidus, and the only product line of their kind in North America. All other probiotics are made from animal or dairy strains and may not adhere as well to the human gastrointestinal tract.

Lack of friendly bacteria in the lower intestines may result in severe abdominal discomfort, bowel problems such as constipation, diarrhea, and IBS, as well as extreme fatigue, and yeast overgrowth.
