Lactase is an enzyme produced by the brush border epithelial surface, by epithelial cells. In humans, lactase production declines rapidly after weaning, giving rise to various degrees of lactose intolerance.

Pharmax Lactase Powder is a convenient way to minimize lactose intolerance. As a potent enzyme preparation, Lactase Powder converts lactose to glucose and galactose, and can be used to alleviate or decrease the degree of lactose intolerance.

Although, Lactase Powder can be added in water or juice and drunk prior to consumption of dairy products, it can also be added directly to milk to digest the lactase portion of the milk prior to consumption.

Recommended Dosage:
Add one scoop to water or juice prior to consumption of dairy products or as professionally directed.
