| The Scoop from Annika | |
This is my all time life-saver natural antibiotic which I take the minute I know I'm about to get really sick with a cold, cough, flu, or bronchial infection. It has worked every time and allowed me to take overseas trips I was going to have to cancel. I swore off antibiotics due to years of overuse and resistance, and Oregacyn is now in my cabinet and suitcase for every trip. I have been impressed every time as it has totally wiped out any cold, virus, and infection before I ever became full blown sick. I swear by this amazing product. It is worth every penny. | More Info about OregaRESP (previously Oregacyn) by North American Herb & Spice | |
OregaRESP has anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, germicidal, antiseptic, pain-killing, and antioxidant properties and is suggested to kill yeast (candida) overgrowth, fungi, bacteria, parasites, relieve diarrhea, intestinal gas, digestive disorders, bronchitis, and provide antioxidant protection. Studies conducted by Georgetown University in Washington D.C., have shown that the wild, mountain-grown oregano used by NAHS is an excellent anti-fungal agent, completely killing Candida albicans in concentrations as minimal as 0.25mg/ml. Many studies demonstrating the strong antioxidant, broad antimicrobial and even pain killing properties of oregano have been published in scientific journals. The most complete resource available on oregano is the book The Cure is in the Cupboard: How to Use Oregano for Better Health, by Dr. Cass Ingram. He notes that "wild oregano is a veritable natural mineral treasure-house, containing a density of minerals that would rival virtually any food." The wild oregano is rich in a long list of minerals that includes calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, potassium, copper, boron, and manganese. Vitamins C and A (beta carotene) and niacin also are contained in oregano. All of this helps make oregano oil a significant factor in treating internal and external fungi including athletes foot. Skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema can be improved with the treatment as well. Ingram explains the astonishing discovery that "oil of oregano outright destroys all variety of fungi and yeasts, regardless of where they reside." In addition to fighting various fungi, oil of oregano is useful against bacteria and parasites. As Ingram asserts, "oil of oregano's antiseptic powers are immense...it inhibits the growth of the majority of bacteria, something that prescription antibiotics fail to accomplish." In the case of parasites, oil of oregano has had success neutralizing worms, amoeba and protozoans. Additional uses for oregano and oil of oregano are multi-dimensional. They have been found helpful in combating diarrhea, intestinal gas, and digestive problems, as well as sore throat and breathing difficulties. Oil of oregano can be immediate help against bee stings and many venomous bites until medical attention can be reached. Oil of oregano has even been suggested as a treatment for dandruff, diaper rash, and other skin disorders. True oregano grows only under specific soil and climate conditions and it cannot be reproduced in your own backyard, even if the seeds are planted. It is the perfect growing conditions found in the mountains of the Mediterranean that produce oregano with active, beneficial substances and without compounds that can be harmful to your health, when taken in concentrated dosages. Thymol is the harmful substance present in many inferior grades of oregano oil; NAHS oil has no thymol. Carvacrol content is a good indicator of high quality oregano oil; NAHS products have over 64%. Carvacrol is not the only indicator of high quality oregano, as the plant produces over 50 known-to-date substances which work synergistically to provide its benefits. Testimonials: Thank you so much...my whole life has changed. I'm looking forward to my next liver test, as I feel confident that my hepatitis is in check, just because of Oreganol" "My husband and I are 62 years old and both suffer from arthritis pain in our hands. We have been using the Oil of Oregano (Oreganol) for 5 days … the pain has virtually gone away. My husband has suffered also from chronic nasal congestion. The Oil of Oregano has cleared up the congestion! He takes a few drops of the oil in juice each day. I highly recommend the oil! " |
