PaleoCleanse is a comprehensive functional food powder ideal for detoxification. It is low in carbohydrates and has been assayed to reveal undetectable levels of lectins.

The protein source is a natural pea protein isolate, providing an excellent array of amino acids including BCAAs (branched chain amino acids). It is particularly high in leucine, lysine, arginine, phenylalanine and tyrosine. It is also easy to digest.

Pea protein has ACE inhibitory activity and may have a positive effect on the maintenance of normal blood pressure levels.[1] It has also been shown, in rat studies, to have a positive impact on total cholesterol and very low density lipoproteins (VLDL) by stimulating bile acid formation and excretion.[2]

Recommended Use:
As a dietary supplement, mix 18 grams (approx. one heaping scoop) in eight ounces of water or any other beverage per day, or as directed by your health care practitioner.  May work up to 2 scoops for a deeper detox.

Notice: This is a natural product that may exhibit color, taste, and density variations from lot to lot. Accurate serving size can only be determined by weight. A scoop is
provided to help approximate this serving size. For the most accurate results, ll scoopand tap the bottom 3 or 4 times, then with a digital scale take out the scoop weight, and

This formula contains enough Molybdenum, 50 mcg, to aid sulfite oxidase activity, which allows the conversion of inorganic sufate to phosphoadenosyl phosphosulfate (PAPS), the activated form that binds with unwanted xenobiotics. Since Molybdenum is also required for xanthine oxidase and aldehyde oxidase for Phase I detoxification, a higher dose of molybdenum would not be ideal as it could potentially upregulate Phase I with Phase II remaining weak. This could result in an increase in the production of more toxic intermediates and increased oxidative stress in patients with high Phase I/Phase II ratios when entering therapy. Designs for Health, in designing this formula, was very conscientious in avoiding unwanted side-effects for patients with compromised liver function. Amino D-Tox was designed by clinicians to biochemically upregulate Phase II detoxification. It is free of herbals, minerals and B vitamins which would also upregulate Phase I detoxification. Patients who are chemically injured, who have chronic illness, and who are pathologic detoxifiers (slow Phase II pathways), will find that this product will gently upregulate all conjugation pathways, resulting in excretion of the pollutants without mobilizing more oxidized toxins from body fat stores.
These oxidized pollutants can be more toxic and harmful than the original substance. The Phase II conjugating pathways must be prepared to deal with Phase I metabolites before these pathways are stimulated. PaleoCleanse Detoxification Protocol
PaleoCleanse Powder: Start at 1/2 scoop twice daily. Over the course of a week build up slowly to 2 scoops twice daily and consume this level during week two.After week two consume 2 scoops three times daily during week three.Starting at week four,reduce dosage to 2 scoops twice daily. Finish with 1 scoop twice daily during week five. Consider use of elimination supporting modalities, such as saunas and colonics, only after week two of program in order to properly prepare for elimination of mobilized toxins.

Diet: Follow a standard whole-food, macronutrient-balanced, elimination diet during the detoxification program.This diet should emphasize well washed organic fresh vegetables and fruits, as well as lean protein. Choose free-range organic lean animal proteins, such as poultry and mercury-free fish. For optimal results, eliminate gluten-containing grains and dairy from the diet during the detoxification program.

Remember that PaleoCleanse is a full functional food powder, and as such, contains caloric density.You will need to eat less as you increase your consumption of the PaleoCleanse powder to maintain a reasonable calorie load per day. PaleoCleanse also provides a full mulitvitamin core.

Optional (for more intense cleansing): Add Amino D-Tox Caps and LV-GB Complex (2 caps three times daily throughout detox program).

For Sensitive Patients (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity known as MCS, pathological or imbalanced detoxifiers): Consider using Amino D-Tox only, for at least several weeks before applying the above PaleoCleanse program.
