Phyto Immune
  • Supports a healthy immune system
  • Adjunctive support
  • Immune system adaptogen: acts as a tonic to improve immune resistance to infection

Consider Phyto Immune? for individuals with acute self-limited upper respiratory viral infections or other viral infections. Phyto Immune? is designed to act quickly to help shorten the duration of sickness. With your chronic viral individual population, Phyto Immune? will encourage a weakened immune response to recover sufficiently to resolve the infection or put the virus into remission. Each ingredient in Phyto Immune? is safe and nontoxic when used as directed.

We encourage you to take Phyto Immune? for short periods of time (up to two weeks) for self-limited acute infections. For chronic viral conditions where longer treatment periods are desirable, we recommend pulsing Phyto Immune? with a two week on and 1 week off routine. This will encourage the strongest response from individuals?s immune system and avoid the development of immune resistance. Phyto Immune? will also be of service where a secondary bacterial infection exists. This is due to the content of Hydrastis (Goldenseal), which has antibacterial and antifungal actions.

Echinacea angustifolia is probably one of the most heavily documented botanicals for immune enhancement. It is commonly recommended for optimal support during ?cold and flu? seasons. Echinacea stimulates the alternate complement pathway and macrophage activity. While Echinacea is recommended for most viral infections, it is not recommended for HIV positive individuals (short term use is accepted) or autoimmune disease individuals.

Andrographis paniculata and Ligusticum lucidum are used traditionally in Asia for their health promoting properties and immune system support. Like Echinacea, they act to boost the immune systems resistance to disease.

Amla (Emblica officinalis) has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. The immune system uses oxidative processes to kill invading pathogens. Amla?s antioxidant properties help to protect healthy tissue from damage during immune system activation.

Hydrastis canadensis (Goldenseal) stimulates macrophages and inhibits the growth of pathogenic (unfriendly) bacteria. Goldenseal?s traditional use was among Native Americans for a wide variety of ailments. It has been used for viral infections, bacterial infections, fungal infections (candida, thrush, etc.), inflammation of the digestive tract, and more.

Astragalus membranaceous is an Oriental tonic and health promoter. Its reported uses are to increase resistance to disease and infections, and restore depressed immunity. Astragalus has been used in influenza, cancer, myasthenia gravis, and ARC (AIDS Related Complex). It also enhances circulation and has been of reported benefit in peripheral vascular disease, hypertension, and ischemia.

Schizandra chinensis has been used for centuries in China and Tibet. It is considered an adaptogen, increasing the body?s resistance to stress and helping to regulate and normalize the functions of the body. Schizandra increases the body?s endurance. It acts as an antioxidant, anti-bacterial, and an anti-toxin.

L-Lysine has been reported to reduce viral replication by modulating the production of arginine. L-Lysine provides nutritional support for the body?s natural defense against infections.

Vitamin A is essential for the proper functioning of the immune system. It supports the maintenance and repair of skin and mucous membranes.
