This product is meant to be used short term (1-3 months) and you must supplement it with probiotics since it will kill off beneficial bacteria which will cause further GI problems. I recommend using HLC High Potency probiotic caps or powder daily during the time you are on Pyloricin, and 1 month after. The benefits of these probiotics are impressive. Pharmax’s Pyloricin is specifically for use against Helicobacter pylori, a bacterium implicated in over 60% of stomach and duodenal ulcers and at least 20% of stomach cancers. The product is remarkably active in inhibiting and killing H. pylori cells, which can be found as an asymptomatic ‘commensal’ in up to 65% of individuals.

Pyloricin is a combination of the freeze-dried concentrates of the essential oils of oregano, clove, ginger and wormwood. The oils have been micellised by the MicroCelle process prior to freeze-drying to enhance dispersion in the stomach, enabling more effective contact of the Pyloricin actives with the H. pylori cells. Dispersion of liquid oils is far less effective. Pyloricin can be used in conjunction with other Pharmax Plant Antimicrobials for broader spectrum activity.
