Two leaders in the field of cancer research, Bob Newman, PhD, Professor of Cancer Medicine and Director of Pharmaceutical Development at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Aaron Katz, MD, Associate Professor of Clinical Urology and Director of the Holistic Urology Center at Columbia University, were invited to the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to present findings from their ongoing studies on NewMark's Zyflamend ® to the Office of Complementary and Alternative Medicine.

Preliminary findings of the Columbia University Zyflamend ®—PIN clinical study presented by Dr. Katz:
All patients (n=29) are now enrolled
No side effects have been found in any patient
All patients are 100% compliant
No alterations in blood chemistry values, EKGs, coagulation profiles or testosterone levels have been found
50% of patients have had a decrease in PSA—46% have had a more than 10% decrease, 27% have had more than 50% decrease
34 repeat biopsies from 20 patients have been performed (biopsies are repeated every 6 months of the 18 month study)
88% have a biopsy negative for prostate cancer
62% of biopsies show a return back to normal prostate tissue
