A. Ideally you would refrain from sex for a little while during treatment. Both the friction and the various fluids and chemicals such as KY and semen can all interfere with balancing pH, reducing inflammation, and implanting new good bacteria. However, whether you have intercourse is a personal decision. At very least, I recommend you use a condom and reduce chemical exposure by you and your partner using fragrance and chemical free soap like Calendula Soap by Weleda
