Q: I have purchased Pharmax brand Alli-Cinn and am not sure if I should take this daily or as a combatant for BV. Is it a to be used as a preventive or as a cure?
A. Alli-Cinn is used daily both actively to treat BV as well as preventively to limit excess yeast growth. Many clients use it initially to treat BV or GI issues or yeast, in tandem with HLC Probiotics and then later as needed, during times when they feel a weakened immune system, when they feel symptoms of yeast coming on, or after eating foods containing sugars (or alcohol). It can even be used after eating sushi to kill off parasites.
