A. Pharmax uses two strains of the L. acidophilus bacteria in the Candaclear product, CUL 21 and CUL 60. It is the same L. acidophilus strains that is used in all probiotic products.ALL products are tested for unwanted microbes. None of the probiotic products exceed the specification of no E. coli per 10g, which is also the case for Candaclear.
