How do I take Alli-Cinn? HLC Maintenance vs. Intensive? Bloating causes?
Q. Should I take Alli-Cinn by Pharmax with food? 2.What is the difference between HLC Maintenance & HLC Intensive? 3. Why do I have some bloating & gas?

A.
Alli-Cinn is best taken with food (contrary to what the label might say). It can be harsh on a delicate stomach and the food helps to buffer this effect, and its potency will remain just as good. I recommend you continue to take Allisyn 2 twice daily with meals, and take your HMF Replete after a different meal. For example, take Allisyn after breakfast and dinner, and take HMF Replete after lunch.

The HLC Intensive caps contain the identical probiotic strains as the HMF Maintenance , but does not contain any FOS which could be causing some gas initially. This is why we typically recommend a 10 day treatment on HMF Intensive (3 caps per day) and then HMF Replete packets. If you find you are still having gas and bloating while using the HMF Maintenance , then increase the dose of HMF Intensive to 1 cap 3x daily after meals for 5+ days, and then take the HMF Replete every other day before bed (so you won’t notice any bloating since you’re asleep).

The bloating and gas is a sign that your intestinal micro-flora is still not in balance. As you continue to take the probiotics, these symptoms will completely go away and you’ll know you’re doing much better!
