Why does Super Matragen have more than 4000 IUs of Vitamin A & is it safe?
Q. I am 6 weeks pregnant and taking the Super Matragen. Why is the Vitamin A content so high? Most reading I do says not to get more than 4000 IUs of vitamin A?

A.
It is recommended to limit your Vitamin A status to 5,000 IUs during pregnancy. The major food sources of Vitamin A are liver, butter, egg yolks, whole milk, cream. Depending on your consumption of these foods, you might want to take 2-3 capsules of the Super Matragen.
