Will Genestra Endurlyte be better than Gatorade for my marathon training?
Q. I am in training for a marathon; instead of using Gatorade/powerade my naturopath gave me Genestra Endurlyte to drink. Is this going to be enough?

A. Genestra's Endurlyte is definitely much healthier than Gatorade and is a good substitution, but will it be enough to replace gels, etc during your marathon? It depends on how much fuel your body needs during your run.

Once serving size has 12g of sugar via fructose, and you can add as many spoons as you want into your water. You'll have to compare the composition of Endurlyte with the sugars/carbs in your gels and Gatorade. Most likely, if you need gels in addition to Gatorade, you will with Endurlyte as well, but at least you'll be getting a good amount of nutrients and electrolytes which can help improve your performance and recovery during training.
