Is it true that acidopholous inserts will help yeast infection & not BV?
Q. I spoke to my gyn doctor today about the acidopholous vaginal inserts, and he said that it might help with a yeast infection and not BV. Is that true?

A. I understand your confusion about the product names since they imply they are for yeast issues, but I can assure you that they are extremely effective for combating BV. In fact, more women use them for BV than for Candida. If I could get the manufacturer to change the product name, it would solve a lot of confusion, but they decided on these names in order to target a different market. What is most important to look into is the ingredients and not the product name.

I encourage you to read the testimonials since they speak for themselves on the benefits of these products. Please take a look through our patient testimonials and feedback.

Here is a link to the BV page with questions, answers, and more info on our “Complete Program” which includes each step of the program.
