Scary News about Dangers of Soy Formula and Industry Pressure

SOY FORMULA PANEL CAVES TO INDUSTRY PRESSURE

Another Generation of Children Condemned to
Allergies, Thyroid Disease, Learning Disorders and Infertility

ALEXANDRIA, VA. December 28, 2009: In response to soy industry revelations that a vote indicating “some concern” would be highly damaging to soy’s image and industry profits, a National Institutes of Health expert panel voted that the health risks of soy infant formula are “minimal.”

The panel, which came out with its findings on December 18, 2009, also ignored requests to require warning labels on soy formula, or to make it available only by prescription with physician monitoring.

The fourteen-member committee, convened by the National Toxicology Program (NTP) Center for the Evaluation of Risks to Human Reproduction (CERHR), was swayed by representatives from the formula industry and panel member Dr. Jatinder Bhatia from the Medical College of Georgis.

Ruth Etzel, MD, PhD, from George Washington University, Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, was the only panel member to dissent from the majority, concluding that several of the studies the committee had reviewed provided enough evidence of soy toxicity to require a finding of “some concern.”

The fourteen panelists looked at almost seven hundred studies, of which a portion were industry-funded reports, while ignoring a multitude of other unbiased published studies (as well as numerous NIEHS, NIH, and FDA negative soy reports) that repeatedly conclude soy phyto-toxicity, especially during developmental exposures.

Gail Elbek of Santa Barbara, California provided the panel with a compilation of over seven hundred additional studies showing extensive physiological, reproductive and neurological adverse effects caused by soy phyto-estrogens, especially during developmental exposures. Sally Fallon Morell, president of the Weston A. Price Foundation, noted in her written testimony that the FDA Toxic Plant Database lists almost three hundred studies showing toxicity of soy; she also provided the committee with studies showing severe thyroid and mucosal damage in infants fed soy formula.... Natural treatment for endometriosis
Q. I have endometriosis and need some suggestions.

A. With endometriosis - each month a woman's ovaries produce hormones that stimulate the cells of the uterine lining (endometrium) to multiply and prepare for a fertilized egg. The lining swells and gets thicker.

If these cells, called endometrial cells, implant and grow outside the uterus, endometriosis results. Unlike cells normally found in the uterus that fall off during menstruation, the ones outside the uterus stay in place. They sometimes bleed a little bit, but they heal and are stimulated again during the next cycle.

This ongoing process leads to symptoms of endometriosis (pain) and can cause scarring and adhesion of the tubes, ovaries, and surrounding structures in the pelvis.

Research suggests that supplementation with vitamin E (1,200 IU per day) and vitamin C (1,000 mg per day) may relieve the pain. Animal research suggests that fish oils may reduce the severity of endometriosis, and fish oils have been shown to improve symptoms of dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation), which may be caused by endometriosis.

Here are some recommendations:

  • E400 Emulsified by Genestra - I recommend this because of the mixed tocopherols and the high d-Gamma-E content, has more anti-inflammatory qualities than d-alpha.
  • Scorbatate - a nice buffered vitamin C with minerals. It is a powder you mix with water. 1/4 tsp a day.
  • Dioscorea Cream - can also be helpful if your progesterone levels are low for balancing hormones. Start using it on day 14 of your cycle.
  • Vitalzyme X - can be helpful for removing scar tissue and fibrosis, and can be helpful removing the scaring that forms from endometriosis.

Betaine hydrochloride helps Hypochlorhydria low stomach acid
Q. What is Hypochlorhydria and what can I take to improve it?

A.
Here is a suggestion for what to take as well as some info on your condition:

Patients with hypochlorhydria take betaine hydrochloride or glutamic acid hydrochloride with meals and snacks. These natural supplements increase the amount of stomach acid, which helps the body properly break down and digest foods, as well as improve assimilation of vitamins.

Hypochlorhydria (low stomach acid) occurs when a person has low levels of stomach acid, also called hydrochloric acid. The body needs stomach acid in order to break down foods so that they can be absorbed in the intestines.

Natural aging, a poor diet, chronic use of certain medications, and past infection with the Helicobacter pylori bacteria may limit a person's ability to produce hydrochloric acid.

Hypochlorhydria may also be a symptom of an underlying medical condition such as Addison's disease, depression, asthma, eczema, gallstones, hepatitis, osteoporosis, psoriasis, thyroid disease, and autoimmune disorders.

If there is low acidity in the stomach, people may only be able to partially digest food. This may lead to malnutrition. Symptoms of hypochlorhydria may include bloating, gas, belching, burning or dryness of the mouth, heartburn, multiple food allergies, rectal itching, redness or dilated blood vessels in the cheeks and nose, adult acne, hair loss (in women), iron deficiency, undigested foods in the stool, yeast infection, as well as diarrhea or constipation. Patients with hypochlorhydria also have an increased risk of developing infections in the gastrointestinal tract because it provides an ideal environment for disease-causing organisms, such as bacteria.

Be sure to stay well hydrated, and eat easy to digest, cooked foods, eat little or no raw foods until you feel better. You might make some broth to sip on to help ease your stomach pain and make easy to digest soup. Here is a link to our broth recipe if you need one, and be sure to use betaine hydrochloride with every meal and snack.

Muscle cramps, muscle stiffness, and workout recovery
Q. What do you recommend for workout recovery? I have muscle cramps, muscle stiffness, and I would like to optimize my fat burning during workout.

A.
Here are my recommendations for you with links:
  • MuscleAid by Biogenesis - To support muscle growth and proper contractions. Also helpful to relieve muscle cramps and stiffness. Add one heaping teaspoon (4.5gm) to 3-6 fl. oz. of water/juice or to food, once or twice daily.
  • Maxi-HGH by DaVinci Labs - This is a high-potency amino acid supplement which supports normal human growth hormone levels, as well as cardiovascular health and reduces sugar cravings. Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, mix 1 scoop per day in 8 oz. juice or water and take on an empty stomach at bedtime or right after strenuous exercise.
Another supplement to consider is CLA. It helps target fat around the waist. This has been demonstrated in some published research studies.

Also for smoothies you might check out our organic whey protein smoothie packages! This is very high quality protein whey that provides a complete protein with all the amino acids. Other products featured here (PaleoGreens & PaleoReds) have great antioxidant and immune system support. If you want to give our products a try for your mid-day smoothie, you can still add your nuts/nut butter and flax oil. Wait until the end of the blending process before you add the protein. Too much blending is going to damage the fragile proteins, and it is best to leave them intact as much as possible. Also for guys, I recommend using fish oil instead of flax oil. The first package comes with a fish oil we often recommend to our clients.

For a good low-carb bar, I would recommend any of the bars that are on this webpage: Low Carb Bars. Please take a minute to look through to see which one may appeal to you. You can purchase a few to try, but normally we sell these by the box.

Kidney Detoxification with homeopathy
Q. Which Undas should I take for kidney detoxification?

A. Here are the Unda's I'm recommending for you for kidney detox and drainage:
  • Unda 2 - Opens up the kidneys for drainage. Used for all infections and inflammations and to improve the overall functioning of the kidneys (which play a major role in elimination and metabolism). Unda 2 sorts and filters toxins and decides what to keep.
  • Unda 7 - for inflammatory conditions of the kidneys and urinary tract. Needed for drainage and removing toxins of the urinary tract.
  • Unda 48 - this has a very strong detoxifying effect in the kidneys, it helps push the toxins out of the cells.
Take 5 drops under the tongue 3x/day. Use these for 3 weeks total then break for a week before resuming. It is important to be patient and persistent as these take time to work. Also, try to take the remedies away from food ingestion or brushing your teeth by about 20 minutes.

For month 2 change your remedies to these:

  • Unda 7 - for inflammatory conditions of the kidneys and urinary tract. Needed for drainage and removing toxins of the urinary tract.
  • Unda 23 - is indicated for incontinence of urine, kidney stones, and inflammation of the urinary tract.
  • Unda 240 - to help incontinence, helps with the drainage of the kidneys.
Each set of remedies will last one month, so you will need to order 2 bottles of Unda 7 to cover you for the two months.

Candida caused by Asthma and Antibiotics
Q. I have asthma which recently evolved into bronchitis. The Dr. put me on an antibiotic and prednisone. I am much worse even though my lungs are clear, chest xray negative, and oxygen levels up. The Dr. thinks the prednisone may have caused a systemic yeast so he prescribed 10 diflucan pills. I did a little research online and can see that the diflucan is a temporary answer. I will have to take it b/c I am extremely uncomfortable in the upper resp. area but what can I use as a more permanent solution to this?
A. Since you are dealing with both these problems, I would recommend: OregaRESP, as it will help both conditions. It comes in liquid or pills, which ever you prefer. For acute bronchial infections, take 3-5 capsules two to four times daily until symptoms subside. Then for daily immune support and to fight yeast, take 1-2 capsules with meals or snack twice daily (or empty stomach if tolerated).

It is also VERY important to support your intestines with beneficial probiotics to help push the yeast out. I highly recommend:
  • HLC Intensive - work up to 3 capsules a day for two weeks then reduce to 2 capsules a day for two weeks, then if all is not better at the end of 4 weeks we should add a higher potency probiotic which will help to further colonize your intestines. This product is called HLC Synbiotic.
The HLC Intensive only comes in a quantity of 30 caps, so you might want to order 2 bottles to start. You could go ahead and include the Synboitic with your order, because I think you will most likely need it. The reason I'm not recommending it first is because HLC Synbiotic has FOS, which can feed yeast. The HLC Intensive does not have FOS, therefore it is a better probiotic to use while you are working on clearing out the yeast from your body. Sometimes this takes time. You may need to be on the HLC Intensive longer than 4 weeks for the yeast clearing to take place, and may need to stay on a maintenance probiotic afterward.

Other helpful products are PaleoFiber and PaleoGreens.

  • PaleoFiber - when consumed on an empty stomach will help move out dead and dying yeast, 1 TBSP a day mixed with water &/or a little juice.
  • PaleoGreens - helps immunity and helps keep the body in a more alkaline state. Yeast are less likely to survive in the body when it is more alkaline, 1 TBSP a day mixed with water or juice.
  • Immunitone Plus - this has strong immune boosting herbs, take one capsule, three times a day with meal. You could take 2 caps 3 times a day if you are very sick until you feel better. This will allow your body better support to fight the Candida yeast.
If your yeast infection is real bad, then you may want to go ahead with the Diflucan as prescibed. Dosing varies depending on what the doctor prescribes. If you have any questions about taking this drug, please consult with your pharmacist or physician.

Please keep me posted and let me know if you have any questions!

Whole food supplements and HLC Mindlinx probiotics for Autism
Q. My 11 year old autistic son has super sensitivity to oral ingestion. He eats only mac+cheese, chicken nuggets, fries, pop-tarts and plain noodles. I am super concerned for his development. He takes pills fine and right now takes your HLC MindlLinx, and fish oil capsules. Do you have any good whole food nutrition tabs to recommend. I have tried every shake/supplement on the market. Please keep in mind that I have a limited budget. I'm sure you know that autism therapies aren't covered under insurance benefits.

A. Many autistic children have extreme food preferences and taste sensitivities. The best thing to do is to try to get him to eat healthy fruits and veggies gradually, sneaking them into his foods whenever possible. The less fried food and sugar you give him, the better his behavior will be, especially if he is sensitive to gluten. Try making your own baked potato wedges instead of giving in to serving french fries.

I went through our line of whole food supplements and I'm going to recommend:

  • One Daily I by Innate Response - (whole food vitamin & mineral tablets) - it says one a day, he may do better with 2 tablets a day, one at breakfast and one at lunch. Try him first at one tablet a day for a week before increasing to two tablets a day. Take note of any improvement or changes in his focus and behavior. Children with spectrum disorders often do better with higher levels of some nutrients, especially Vitamin B6 & Magnesium.
  • P5P (vit B6) plus Magnesium - by Klaire Labs (veggie caps) - provides the correct ratio of these nutrients that are needed in higher quantities. I would recommend 1 cap with breakfast. P-5-P is essential for healthy amino acid metabolism, neurotransmitter balance, immune function, and responsible for over sixty enzymatic reactions. Research shows that P-5-P or B-6 plus magnesium is the most critical vitamin/mineral combination in the treatment of Autism and ADD/ADHD.

Please feel free to review our link on Autism if you'd like. Also, you might be interested in signing up for our free Quick Health Tips newsletter, this is sent out 1-2 times a month via email and it has a variety or topics on health and nutrition, as well as coupons to be used with our products! Let me know if you need further guidance with our products or how he does with these products I've recommended!

What natural supplements should I take for Fibromyalgia?
Q. I’m not sure what supplements to buy. I've had fibromyalgia for 20 years
plus.

A. *Fibromyalgia:* Research and clinical experience points strongly to the fact that yeast overgrowth and dysbiosis has contributes and may even cause CFS and Fibromyalgia. If you have any of those problems I'd be glad to provide some guidance on products to control and improve those conditions. But for now these products can be very helpful.

- MuscleAid by Biogenesis - This supplement provide the essential mineral, magnesium & malic acid in forms that are helpful for myalgia pain. The Journal of Nutritional Medicine published a study on the combined effects of magnesium and malic acid on FM individuals. Oral magnesium and malic acid preparations in an open clinical setting were used. Fifteen individuals of the (ages 32 to 60) received 1,200 to 2,400 mg of malic acid with 300 to 600 mg of magnesium for a period of 4 to 8 weeks. The results of the study were very encouraging; all individuals had a subjective improvement of myalgia occur within 48 hours of supplementation. To achieve the minimum dose used in this study I would recommend 1 tsp of the MuscleAid in the evening.

- MagneDerm Gel by Designs for Health- is a new cream containing a very absorbable magnesium from the sea. I've attached an information sheet for you to review this great new product!

Additionally, we do have a section on Fibromyalgia if you care to review it. These recommendations are not everything you could be doing, you said you don't want to take a lot of pills, so I've suggested creams and powders where I can. The essential fatty acid supplement I recommended is in a softgel, however, if you'd rather take a liquid, let me know and I'll send a different rec for you.

Focus your on more fish, organic animal protein- eggs, poultry, beef, etc, lots of healthy hormone building fats such as organic olive oil, coconut oil, avocado, nuts, etc. and high fruit and veggie intake. It can be helpful to cut out dairy, gluten and sugars as much as possible.

I'll look forward to hearing back from you if you have further questions or need some nutritional guidance. We are licensed nutritionists here to help our clients, and also like to keep track of your progress.

What natural supplements should I take for Osteoporosis?
Q. I would like to purchase items concerning osteoporosis and get some probiotics. However, I’m not sure what to buy.

A. Here are the products I would recommend for the conditions / supplements you've requested. I've included weblinks to all the products I'm recommending for you to read more about them!

*For Osteoporosis:*

Necessary:
- Osteoforce -bone building chelated mineral formula for strong bones! Recommend 2 tablets with breakfast, and 2 with dinner = 4 a day total.

- Vitamin D Synergy has a higher level of Vitamin D and necessary for bone mineralization, it also has vitamin K. The vitamin K is necessary to make sure the calcium in the blood ends up in the bones and not other areas of the body causing unnecessary calcification to organs or arteries. Recommend 1 capsule with dinner.

Helpful:
- OmegAvail Synergy TG -Gamma linolenic acid is a dietary omega-6 fatty acid found in many plant oil extracts. Some clinical evidence suggests that GLA and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) enhance the effects of calcium supplementation for osteoporosis. Recommend 2 softgels twice daily. (Also helpful for fibromyalgia)

- Exercise can increase bone density at any age. It is an important treatment for osteoporosis to maintain healthy bones. Weight-bearing aerobic activities, involving the bones supporting body weight, have been shown to have a positive effect in maintaining and increasing bone mass and preventing osteoporosis. These activities include weight-lifting, jogging, hiking, stair-climbing, step aerobics, dancing, racquet sports, and other activities that require muscles to work against gravity. Swimming and simply walking, although good for cardiovascular fitness, are not the best exercises for building bone. Individuals who live a sedentary lifestyle have weaker bones and are subjected to a higher risk of sustaining fractures.

- Creatine (KreAlkalyn Pro by DFH) is an amino acid that is found in the muscles. Early studies examining the effect of creatine in aging suggest that creatine may increase bone density when combined with resistance training.

- PaleoGreens and PaleoReds, are a great way to get the nutrients from fruits and veggies if your diet is lacking, another advantage of these is they help keep the body more alkaline, which helps protect the bones.

Additional lifestyle factors include not smoking, no alcohol or limiting to no more than one glass a day, *maintaining a healthy body weight*: Being underweight is a risk factor for osteoporosis. Staying within a healthy weight for an individual is important. Extreme thinness is a risk factor for osteoporosis. Getting adequate sunlight, at least 15 minutes a day.

*Probiotic:*

- HLC Intensive is a good probiotic to start with to help colonize your intestinal tract with good microflora. Take 1 a day with a meal. After taking this for 1-2 months you could go with a maintenance probiotic.

- Multi Glyco by Genestra
- for specific nutritional & glandular support for glucose metabolism. *Contraindications: *Discretion with hypertension due to licorice, ginseng and adrenal concentrate, and beta-carotene for smokers.

- To aid in digestion, I would recommend Pancreatin 840
digestive enzymes. This formula when taken with your meals is designed to assist specifically with the digestion of carbohydrates, lipids and proteins. This will help in the overall utilization of the nutrients in your foods and supplements.

- Super Orti Vite by Genetra
- for basic nutritional support with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, all important for diabetes and periodontal disease.

Natural treatment for Periodontal issues of gums and bone recession
Q.Could you help me choose products that would help to naturally improve Periodontal issues of gums with bone recession?

A. I would recommend these products for your periodontal issues of gum and bone recession.

Here is a little additional information about periodontal disease - Any disorder of the gums or other supporting structures of the teeth. Recurrent gingival inflammation is an early manifestation of periodontal disease, but it may also lead to progressive degeneration of the mucous membranes and connective tissue surrounding the teeth.

Poor dental hygiene, nutrient deficiencies (especially of vitamin C, bioflavonoids, calcium, folic acid, niacin), high consumption of sugar and simple carbohydrates, smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, chronic illness and general poor immune function may all contribute to the development of periodontal disease.

- MSPD Peridontal Complex by Genestra

- Yes, on the Homeofresh Toothpaste by Unda as well.

- We also have the Homeofresh Chewing Gum with Chlorophyll if you are unable to brush after meals.

- CoQ10- has been shown to be helpful in protecting the gum recession and it is also cardio-protective. I would recommend 2-3 a day with a meal.

- Get regular cleanings, usually done by dentists and dental hygienists, remove tartar (mineralized plaque) that may develop even with careful brushing and flossing.

I would recommend these products above instead of Abies Pectinata, as it is for use in children.

GI Microb X relieves my eczema, how long do I take and any other suggestions?
Q. I have been taking GI Microb X for the past 4 months due to my eczema on my hands. It is the only thing that I have found that helps relieve the symptoms. I need to order some more today, but wanted to ask you how long I can take this product and if there is anything else that I can do for my eczema (food related)?

A. I would suggest taking a break from the GI Microb-X. This product is not meant to be used for long periods of time without taking a break.

Treating eczema can be challenging because there are several things that need to be accessed and controlled:

- Food Allergies - need to be determined and allergenic foods should be excluded from the diet for up to one year. If you need help with this, I can give you some guidance.
- Lowering histamine
- Killing negative bacteria and Candida Albicans in the gut (GI MicrobX helps with this)
- Healing the intestines from damage caused by food allergies and bacteria
- Elevate immune system

I would recommend starting to address gut healing, and I will also recommend other supportive products. Here are my recommendations (based on research with eczema patients) to get started on:

  • Genuine Norwegian Cod Liver Oil - for the essential fatty acids and extra vitamin A & D. Helps to lower inflammation and EFAs help reduce eczema. Take 2-3 tsp / day with food, and increase cold water fish in your diet to 2-3 servings per week.
  • GI Revive - to heal the gut lining. Take 1 heaping tsp, twice daily, mix with water or juice.
  • Dandelion Tincture - helps an immune mechanism that is important in destroying bacteria and foreign particles. The activation of this could result in restoration of your own ability to destroy bacteria. Take 20 drops three times daily with water, 30 minutes before meals.
  • Immunitone Plus - strengthens your immune system and herbs that more gentle to the GI tract that still have anti-microbial and anti-yeast activity.
  • HLC Intensive Probiotic - it is important to replenish the good bacteria in the gut after using GI MicrobX. The ingredients in this product will also wipe out your good gut flora. I would recommend 2 caps with 2 meals a day.

For your hands, you might try this cream. It has soothing chamomile and calendula and zinc for healing. It is fragrance free. It is also important to avoid exposure to chemical irritants and any other agents that might cause skin irritation. Avoid greasy cream preparations since they block sweat ducts.

I hope this helps, please let me know if you need further gui
dance!

Natural support for IVF and estrogen balance
Q.How can I naturally balance my estrogen levels? My ivf cycles were canceled due to high estrogen.

A.
One thing I have found helpful to help bring female hormones back into balance is weekly acupuncture. It takes a while, but I have found it has been helpful for me and many other women. It is also helpful to preserve the quality of your eggs. The important thing is to find an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility in your area in which you live.

A supplement I can recommend to help balance excess estrogen is Bio-Isoflavone. This is actually a phytoestrogen, which can block the cell receptors from accepting estrogens in the body's organ systems. When the estrogens do not bind to the receptors, then the body filtration system can work on removing the excess estrogens and lower the level in the blood. I would recommend 1 capsule a day, between the day after you finish your menstrual cycle and continue until the first day of your cycle then rest until your cycle ends. If you get this supplement in the middle of your cycle, then go ahead and start taking it until you get your period, then rest.

DIM Avail by DFH is another product I would recommend taking as well. DIM supplementation improves the estrogen ratio in a favorable direction that protects both men and women without the negative effect of raising 4 hydroxyestrogen. It stimulates more efficient use of estrogen by increasing the metabolism of estradiol.

In order to make sure your body can remove the excess estrogens, it is important to keep the liver and intestinal tract healthy. Remove coffee and alcohol from your diet (if you consume them, drink green tea instead), and focus on nutrients to support the liver and probiotics for the intestines. Here are two products I would recommend: HLC Intensive caps by Pharmax

- HLC Intensive Probiotic
1 cap a day, unless you have any intestinal issues, then you could do
2-3 caps a day.

- Amino Detox
3 caps between meals, twice a day. This will help your liver work better to remove excess estrogens. If your liver is fairly toxic from poor diet, alcohol, medications, and hormones, it may be helpful to do our full 3-Step Detox Program

Diet is important to eat plenty of cruciferous vegetables (organic broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, etc.), to help with estrogen balance and healthy fats also are important.

I would recommend this blend of oils to help you with your healthy fatty
acid balance: OmegAvail Synergy TG.
Take 2 caps twice daily, usually best taken with meals or before bed. Try to eat cold-water fish 1-2 times a week, and use coconut oil, avocados, olive oils, nuts and seeds for their healthy fats, in addition to the supplement I just recommended.

Flu prevention during pregnancy
Q. What do you recommend for a pregnant woman to take for flu prevention?

A.
Cold and Flu prevention for pregnancy and lactation is not easy since most supplements say "not indicated for pregnancy or lactation". But, we have done the research work for you with these recommendations to help you safely prevent the flu during pregnancy and lactation.

The safest and best things you can do:
  • Eat a healthy diet plenty of colorful, organic fruit and veggies.
  • Get plenty of rest, fluids and exercise each day.
  • Try not to get close to people who seem sick, don't kiss people, wash hands with anti-bacterial soap frequently or use anti-bacterial gels, which are easy to carry in your purse.
  • The power of thought is also very important. Try focus on the thought you will be healthy rather than allowing the fear to take over. Work on letting go of the fear you may be feeling through meditation.
  • Take a good prenatal vitamin & mineral supplement, high potency probiotics (HLC Intensive) and try to get about 2 grams of fish oils daily.

A few other key supplements you might want to be taking are:

  • NAC by Genestra which has 500mg of NAC per cap, so once a day is fine, unless you start to feel like you are coming down with something, then increasing to 2 caps a day. It is a powerful free radical scavenger and thus supports the body’s natural defense system. NAC increases tissue levels of glutathione, a key component of the antioxidant defense system.
  • Zinc Supreme - has 30mg of very absorbable zinc and other co-factor trients. Zinc is critical for immune function, building new tissues, wound healing, leaky gut, digestion, insulin sensitivity, the functioning of over 200 enzymes, skin health, and having a healthy pregnancy. We would recommend 1 cap a day for a month, then every other day through flu season and pregnancy. (40mg is the DRI safe upper limit during pregnancy/lactation)
  • Zinc displaces copper, so you may want to add:
  • Gammadyn Cu - has 5.12mg of copper per ampoule. Copper helps to decrease acute and chronic bacterial infections, and is indicated for conditions such as allergies, infections, chronic and acute inflammation, colds and flu, warts, and hepatic and digestive disorders. We would recommend 1 cap daily for a month, then every other day through flu season and pregnancy. (10mg is the DRI upper safe level during pregnancy/lactation)
  • Vitamin D - get 1000 IU of D3 in one drop. This level would be safe to take along with your prenatal multivitamin. It is now being recommended that we get 1000 IU each day, and they have been finding in research that it plays a strong role in immune function and having these higher amounts can play a role in flu prevention. (2000 IU is the DRI upper level during pregnancy/lactation)

You might try to find a classical homeopath for a prevention prescription for you. Homeopathy is a specialized science. Some doctors specialize in it and it is important to find the best remedies for the individual, otherwise it may not work. Our consulting naturopath has informed us these 2 remedies seem to be the most successfully used as treatments for the H1N1 virus: Nux_Vomica and Ferrum_Phosphoricum,

"This is a gathering of information submitted from experienced homeopaths all over the country based on their findings of treating cases that are part of an epidemic. They have narrowed down to 2 remedies (Nux Vomica and Ferrum Phosphoricum) that tend to pop up most of the time as successful treatments for the H1n1."

If you come down with H1N1, you should see a homeopath or naturopathic doctor who works with homeopathy to determine the correct remedies for you!

Be well and stay healthy!>

Baby Eczema and Flu Shot for infants
Q. I have a few questions about the flu shot for my 6 month old, and questions about the best way to treat eczema. I don't like the idea of my doctor telling me that I should get my son the flu shot I have never taken it before and don't plan to. I believe since I'm nursing and taken lots of probiotics that should be enough. Tell me what you think. Also my son has really bad eczema. What should I do? Do you sell products for baby eczema? (Steroid free of course).

A. To address your questions about your baby's eczema, I am including weblinks of some products I would recommend for you to try with him.

  • Calendula Cream Bath - use for bathing; Avoid harsh detergents, soaps, colors/dyes, fragrances, chemical additives such as paraben preservatives or foaming agents such as SLS (Sodium Laureth Sulfate)
  • DriCelle Vega Pregnessence (child) - this is an essential fatty acid (EFA's) for infants until the age of 12 months, give 1/2 a teaspoon (1.5g) taken daily up to 12 months of age. Add to formula milk or expressed breast milk AFTER warming and stir until dissolved. A deficiency of EFA's can make babies more susceptible to ezcema. This EFA blend is more specific to brain development, and may not have a big impact in clearing eczema. I would also recommend adding 1/2 tsp of Cod Liver Oil a day as well. This will help reduce inflammation and provide Vitamin A & D, necessary for immune health and development.
  • HLC Neonate Probiotic - Would recommend adding daily to help his intestinal health, and immune response. It is now acknowledged that imbalances in the flora of the neonate may significantly increase the risk of childhood allergy and susceptibility to infectious disease. Here is the recommended dosage:
Bottle Fed Babies: Mix apx 1/16 tsp into baby bottle (half of 1/8 tsp) once or twice a day.
Breast Fed Babies: Press clean finger into powder and have baby suckle finger. Or use a tiny plastic spoon (i.e. used at the ice cream/gelato store for flavor tasting). These fit perfectly into the Neonate bottle and then into their tiny mouth, and easily smears onto their tongue. Then follow it with a little breast milk, or let them mash it around their mouth with saliva. They may not even notice they have that tiny bit of powder in their mouth (it tastes slightly sweet). Approximately 33 mg (1 billion viable cells) will naturally adhere to the end of your finger (rough dosage idea). Repeat three times daily.

I would also recommend food allergy testing to see what foods he may be allergic to, or if you are already giving him cow's milk to discontinue until after the age of 1 years old, as eczema can be triggered by food allergies, as well as chemicals in soaps and clothing. Be sure to wash clothing and bedding with perfume free detergents, and wash before wearing.

As far as giving a flu shot, I cannot really advise you one way or the other, as it seems to be a personal decision. Though the flu shot, seems to be pretty controversial, and not free of potential negative reactions from immuno-compromised infants and individuals. However, if it were me, I would give the products I've recommended to help his developing immune system. In addition I would recommending adding this coconut oil based ingredient to applesauce daily to help immune function:

Monolaurin - open 1 capsule and mix with food.

You can use Monolaurin too, just use about 4 times as much for yourself or other adults. Thanks for your email and your continued business. Please let me know if I can be of further help!

Enzymes, Immune Builders, and healthy delicious foods

We're halfway through the holiday season... which means more parties and family get-togethers, then come the New Year's celebrations!! With all the hearty holiday meals and cold weather, how are we supposed to stay healthy and fit?

3 Tips on Staying Healthy: Enzymes, Immune Builders, and healthy delicious foods

1) Give your family the gift of... Enzymes!
2) 'Tis the season to catch colds: let's talk immune-builders!

3) Healthy Holiday Meals... keep them fun without worry!

Give Your Family the Gift of... Enzymes!

GreenCircles BannerWhy do so many people gain unwanted pounds over the holiday season? It's simple, there's less exercise, and more eating going on... and the foods we're eating this time of year are usually sweeter and more fattening! There is a limit to how much holiday fun food our bodies can break down and burn off. To enjoy these rich foods while keeping physically fit, make enzymes part of your family's holiday meal plan.

Supplement your diet year-round with natural digestive and systemic enzymes. Because we eat more cooked and processed foods than our ancient ancestors, there are fewer enzymes in our food than we need to break it all down. Enzymes are completely natural, and help our bodies with increased metabolism (weight loss), detoxification, improved energy, nutrient absorption, and much more!

Digestive enzymes work directly on the foods we eat for better digestion and bowel regularity. Systemic enzymes, on the other hand, work in the bloodstream; providing better circulation, reduced inflammation throughout the body, and help with overall well-being and longevity. Read about benefits and contra-indications by clicking the provided links to specific products, or by contacting us directly.

Here are a few product suggestions that are available for purchase from our website...

Digestive Enzymes:

-Digestzymes by Designs For Health - A complete broad spectrum enzyme formula to help digest fats, protein and carbohydrates. Not recommended for a history of ulcers.

-Glutenzyme by Pharmax - A specialized formula used to digest gluten... for those with sensitivity to gluten including ADHD, Autism, food allergies, celiac, etc.

-DairyGest (was Lactozymes) by Designs For Health - Excellent for those with dairy sensitivities, both lactose and milk protein sensitivies. Systemic Enzymes:

-Vitalzyme X by World Nutrition - Works systemically to clear inflammatory proteins, virus, bacteria and debris from your bloodstream. Reduces pain, increases energy and helps with a better night sleep.

Take digestive enzyme with meals, and systemic enzymes in between meals. Of course we all must remember to include some exercise in our holiday plans. Long walks are especially helpful in improving our circulation and digestion, while not over-exerting ourselves after enjoying a large meal. Another benefit to taking a long walk is that you can enjoy it with your loved ones so you don't have to break away from the party!

'Tis the Season To Catch Colds: Let's Talk Immune-Builders!

Why do we tend to catch more colds and flu viruses during the colder months? The truth is, the viruses that cause these ailments are attacking us year round. The difference is that we tend to eat more unhealthy foods during these months, and our immune systems are less able to put up the necessary fight to keep us healthy.

To maintain immune strength, we need to get the proper rest, physical activity, nutrition, and immune-boosting supplementation. It helps to keep in mind that each of these factors is influenced by the others. For example, eating properly can energize you to get more exercise, which can lead to a deeper sleep, and so on.

Here are some products we suggest to boost your immune system, and help ward off viruses and other illnesses, so you can enjoy a cold-free cold season!

HLC Intensive: This probiotics supplement promotes the growth of healthy bacteria throughout the digestive tract, which accounts for 60% of our entire immune system. These healthy bacteria are essential for proper digestion and absorption of key nutrients.

C+Biofizz: A fun, flavorful Vitamin C drink that kids and adults will both love. Vitamin C should be part of the diet several times each day, as it is vital for strong immune function. C+Biofizz will quickly become your family's favorite replacement for juice and soft drinks!

Paleogreens: Made from organic fruits, berries, and vegetables; this delicious lemon-lime flavored drink powder bolsters immune function by alkalinizing and healing the intestines, and providing the body with strong antioxidant protection.

Immunotone Plus: This powerful herbal immune formula strengthens against chronic infections, auto-immune diseases, respiratory ailments, and much more.

Vitamin D Synergy: Research is overwhelming pointing to the prevalance of vitamin D deficiency. Insufficient vitamin D, especially during winter months causes suppression of the immune system and a higher rate of influenza, colds, and seasonal affective depression (winter blues).

This winter, make sure you eat right, sleep tight, and exercise plenty... then stoke up the fire in your immune system with the right supplements, and blast the cold bugs before they can put the chill on you!

Holiday Meals...
Keep them Fun Without Worry!

Everyone loves a hearty holiday meal, right? Families are fretting over the effects on their health. Here we've provided some simple suggestions to keep your holiday meals delicious, and keep your family eating healthy.

Sugar and refined/artificial sugar substitutes toxify our bodies and cause accelerated aging.

Healthy replacements: use Xylitol or Stevia in your recipes.

Sunflower, Safflower, Corn Oil, and Margarine cause inflammation, alter cell structure, slow metabolism, cause heart disease, and suppress immune function.

Healthy Suggestion: use Organic Coconut Oil for cooking and baking. It's delicious and provides many healthy benefits including anti-viral, antibacterial, immune boosting, fat burning, energy enhancing, and infection fighting. Gluten containing and refined grains are difficult for our bodies to digest and can lead to chronic illness.

Healthy suggestion: use whole grain flours like quinoa, coconut, amaranth, or brown-rice flower (gluten-free is best).

It used to be that you had to choose between eating healthy and eating foods that were tasty. Not so anymore! By following these suggestions we've provided and making simple ingredient replacements, you'll crank up the nutritional value of your meals and snacks without losing any of its delicious flavor!

Another tactic to ensure a healthy balance through the festive times is to eat a nutrient packed "lite" breakfast and lunch, saving room for some splurge later on in the day. To make sure your family starts off each day right, here are some crowd pleasing recipes, featuring several products that can be ordered from our website, Paleomeal Protein Powder, Organic Coconut Oil and Xylitol. Paleomeal is an excellent whey protein supplement helpful with balancing blood sugar, managing weight and muscle mass, contributing antioxidant and anti-fungal properties, and boosting immune and energy levels... and it is gluten free! Xylitol is an all natural sweetener, derived from the birch tree, which is also where the cool wintergreen flavor comes from. Read more about the health benefits of this outstanding sweetener. These recipes will improve nutritional intake while spreading smiles around the table.

Baby & Mama Nutrition

What is the single most important thing you can do to keep your infant or child healthy? Feed him the right foods of course! The problem is that most moms don't really know what they should or should not be feeding their babies. Sure, there are books and recommendations by your Pediatrician. But are those correct and complete?

Has your Pediatrician researched the topic of infant nutrition recently? Statistics show that Drs don't have time to learn more about nutrition than what they are taught in medical school, and what the big commercial baby food/formula companies teach them in office. Uh oh! Recipe for disaster. Here are some nutrition tips that you will NOT hear from your Pediatrician (unless he's done his homework).

AvocadoFATS are Good!
Is your child getting 6 Tablespoons of healthy fats per day?

From birth through 2 years of age, your infant should be getting 35-50% of calories from fat in his/her diet. This is roughly 6 Tablespoons of fats per day. Health problems such as constipation, diarrhea, gas, skin rashes, frequent colds, ear infections, hyperactivity, aggressiveness, can all be improved (and even prevented) using good nutrition.

Six Tablespoons may seem like a lot, but it just takes a few servings of coconut oil, avocado, cod liver oil, chicken, chicken liver, duck, fish, olive oil, raw grass-fed organic milk and butter (Grass fed contains CLA, vit A&D). Read the full article here.

IntestinesPooping: It's not "normal" for infants 6+months to go less than twice daily
Is your baby pooping enough?

Once eating solids, your baby should have soft formed poops at least twice per day. If they are runny or hard, or less than twice daily, it means there is something out of balance with his/her digestion.

Here are some tips: 1) Look into using a different milk. 2) Add more healthy fats daily since they lubricate and heal the intestines 3) add veggies/veggie puree a couple times a day, and remove any foods containing white flour, sugar, hydrogenated oil, and corn syrup (which they shouldn't be having in the first place).

No Junk Food or Sweets. Ever!
It's a bad idea to give infants the taste of junk and sugar.

DonutsMany moms feel it's harmless to give their infants and toddlers some of junky food occasionally, or perhaps a small dessert now and then. You are setting yourself up for big problems! Not only is that junk going to affect their taste preferences, it will also damage their tiny growing bodies.

As a parent, you make the decisions on what your child eats. Why not always give them the absolute best foods? It will pay off tenfold with good health, no cavities, no braces (that's right, good nutrition prevents need for braces! Next article will explain), and a strong immune system.

Research shows that the first 2 years of a child's life is when they form many taste preferences. The more you give them certain types of foods, the more likely they will grow up to love them. So go for it: Brussels sprouts, broccoli, chicken livers, egg yolks, avocado, veggie soup, bone broths, meat, chicken, and cod liver oil.

It can take up to 10 "trials" of a new strong tasting food before they start liking it. Yet, one taste of refined sugar or junk, and the body is biologically programmed to like it and want more. Your little one is sure to turn down bitter tasting foods if he knows sweets are available.

Studies show that kids who are exposed to many different foods in the first couple years of life grow up choosing to eat more balanced and wide range of foods. This is a sharp contrast with most of today's average kid who refuse to eat anything but macaroni, pizza, soda, and sweets.

The trick to getting them to eat healthy foods? Don't introduce them to the junk until they are old enough to be taught general concepts like "good", "bad", or "not healthy". At that point, educate them on what healthy foods are and how to choose the best ones. Reward them for turning down unhealthy options. "Good for you! You did it! You chose a healthy food for a snack."

Be sure that you yourself are a good role model. Kids want to be like their parents and they will want to eat what you're eating. Uh oh, guess that means YOU need to eat healthy too!

Grow Younger in 2010

In this New Year's Resolution News, we offer you 5 Health Hints to Grow Younger and Healthier in 2010!
GROW YOUNGER in 2010

Avocado
These are simple affordable steps you can easily take this year to slow your aging and feel younger. If you apply these tips, you will undoubtedly feel better tomorrow than you do today.
1. Fill your plate with more vegetables and fruit! If you're always on the go and have little time to prepare fresh greens or fruit, try Organic PaleoGREENS and PaleoREDS mixed in water. They each contain over 15 veggies or fruits and mix up easily on the go. These two awesome powder drink mixes are delicious and will help you stay nourished throughout the year. Always aim to include veggies at every meal and snack. Yet, in times when it's not possible, have Paleogreens and Reds ready at your desk for a nutritious and alkalinizing
snack you will love!

Tip: You can mix 1 scoop sweet Reds with 1 scoop Green plain flavor for a super nutritious combo. Kids love the Paleoreds, so mix some up in their plain unsweetened yogurt for a red treat.

2. Just say NO to diet products! Artificial sweeteners are worse for you than sugar itself, in many cases. Aspartame has been proven in many scientific studies to toxify the nervous system and cause conditions ranging from depression and insomnia to nervousness and attention issues, and more. Sucralose may be responsible for declined thyroid function according to select studies. These are found in most gum, many candies, diet sodas, "diet foods", and "health bars". Look for more natural, lower glycemic sweeteners such as honey, agave nectar, xylitol and stevia instead. See delicious Xylitol Products

3. Load up on healthy fats! Decline all fats which are processed and high heated and say "YES" to avocados, homemade roasted nuts, olive oil, coconut milk and oil, sesame oil and seeds, and grass-fed dairy or goat butter and cream. You need these for healthy cells and hormones.
4. GO-probiotics! Our bodies are the terrain, bacteria are the soldiers. Arm your body with good bacteria while eliminating the bad guys which may be plotting to take over your system and make you sick! HLC Probiotics literally live and grow in your intestines and protect you from overgrowth of yeast, bacteria, parasites and other creepy crawlers. For ultimate intestinal defense, add Allicin, Paleofiber and Glutamine.

5. Arrest Your Stress! Stress may be one of THE most toxic habits that ever enter your life. In 2010, leave the stress behind. Start projecting more good thoughts and less worrisome or self-depreciating ones. If you need some stress support, visit our stress section for suggestions on how to improve your happy hormones so the stressors in life won't phase you!
Weight Loss in 2010 Starts In Your Mind

The result will be a trimmer and more vibrant YOU. The best part is that these changes will stay with you long term, because you've reprogrammed the way you think about your food.

Getting Paid to Get Healthy

Money

For many people, the New Year means it is time to allocate the money in their Flex Spending or Cafeteria Plan. You may be able to use Flex dollars for your nutritional needs and services. Wouldn't it be helpful to get a tax-effective 25% to 35% discount on your healthy buys this year? Consult with your benefits provider for details.

If your provider doesn't cover these type of services and purchases, you may still have options. Talk to your tax advisor about what writeoffs you can take related to health and nutrition. For an advanced look, here is a link to the IRS webpage that covers this topic.

Click the link and scroll to the heading: "Weight-Loss Program". Generally speaking, you will find the most opportunity to deduct weight loss related expenses when sought to treat a physician diagnosed illness such as obesity, high blood pressure, etc.

4 Natural Ways to Prevent the Flu

My toddler KiraIs it luck, or is my 2 year old daughter equipped with one heck of an immune system from the great stuff I give her?

She's one of the only kids at her school who has never been really sick. Never an ear infection, no flu, just a mild cold, and nothing but a quick fever and she fights anything off in 24 hours.

Am I bragging? Ok, just a little :-) But I'm telling you, it's not luck. It's knowing the right things about health and nutrition which protect you and your family. And in the last 12 years studying nutrition, I've learned a thing or two.

In this newsletter, I want to share my secrets with you on how to strengthen the immune system and prevent the flu.

To your health,
Annika Rockwell, CN

News You Can Use: 4 Natural Ways to Prevent the Flu

Boost your Immune System with
FOUR Natural and Effective Ways to Prevent the Flu

THE FLU! Oh NOOOOO! I'm tired of hearing about the Swine Flu. Forget about all the media HYPE on the vaccine. Here's what you need to do protect yourself...

Activate your immune system and allow it to work for you. These strategies are EFFECTIVE and easier than you may think.

protein foods1.) Increase Protein
Did you know most people in the US are not eating enough quality protein? Protein is the main macro-nutrient needed for the immune system to function optimally, so if you don't get enough, your immune function can suffer. Be sure to get 3-6 oz of clean lean protein per meal.

It's always best to choose organic grass-fed beef or wild-game, or free-roaming chicken and eggs since organic means more nutrients and less toxins. And if you want amazing seafood, try my favorite clean and pure Alaskan fish from Vital Choice.

Protein Fruit SmoothieBut if you're in hurry, some great sources of healthy protein are organic whey protein powder for a delicious smoothie, and gluten-free protein bars. Keep them on hand for a convenient meal or snack.

2.) Eat Colorful Foods
Each color of the food rainbow contains a distinct class of nutrients and antioxidants. Make sure that throughout the day you're getting some reds, oranges, greens, purples, yellows and whites. This will ensure maximum antioxidant support and an alkalizing effect on your system. If you're having trouble getting all those colorful foods each day, do what the nutritionists do, and drink your PaleoGreens and PaleoReds Powder. These are delicious and easy to give kids!

veggies3.) Get Good Sleep
No matter how wonderful your diet and supplement program are, your body will always function better with adequate rest. Thus, if you're having trouble relaxing or falling asleep, consider a natural sleep support called Sleep Aide.

You can also practice meditation to maximize your restful sleep, and try sleeping with a lavender pillow or rubbing calming oils into your skin before bed. For more personalized sleep support strategies, contact us for a consultation.

Muco-coccinum104.) Take Muco Coccinum once a week and AHCC daily
These two immune boosting supplements are nothing short of amazing! Keep these sublingual tablets in your medicine cabinet at all times for yourself and your kids and take one tablet weekly of Muco-Coccinum.

That's right, just one per week. Pretty easy. Let it melt under your tongue. It's safe for everyone in your family including infants and the elderly.

Better yet, this homeopathic remedy is inexpensive and incredibly effective. Research shows it will significantly protect you against many flu strains. Check out the amazing testimonials from our clients who have used this product for years and found it protected them and their family quite well.

AHCC-ImmunokinokoMuco Coccinum can be taken preventatively in addition to taking a multi-vitamin and omega-3s. Yet, if you feel like you're coming down with something, they can be taken every 3 hours until symptoms subside.

Another favorite immune supplement we all use around here is called ImmunoKinoko-AHCC. It's an incredible medicinal mushroom product from Japan which is regularly used in over 700 of their hospitals and clinics. The scientific research on this product is outstanding! And I've personally visited their impressive manufacturing facility in Japan.

Take 2 per day for powerful protection against a host of pathogens. Read the full article and videos on Immunokinoko-AHCC here.

Now that you know HOW,
it's time to prevent yourself from getting miserably sick!

Protect yourself and your family by keeping these two powerful supplements in your medicine cabinet AT ALL TIMES, take AHCC daily and Muco Coccinum weekly, and at first sign of a cold or flu, take them every 3 hours until symptoms disappear.

Strengthen Your Immune System to Minimize the Effects of the Flu (or Keep From Getting it at ALL!)
The media hype would have us believe that preventing or surviving the flu is all about the flu shot. That just isn't true! In fact, the flu shot can be quite dangerous.

Some safe, effective, and time tested strategies include getting plenty of sleep, enjoying plenty of natural sunlight (see our section on Vitamin D), and arming yourself with several natural supplements to help equip your immune system "soldiers".
Annika's Favorite Immune Boosting Products
OregaResp
OregaRESPOregaRESP is nature's most powerful natural antibiotic for bronchial and sinus infections! You will be amazed at how quickly your cough disappears due to its natural antispasmodic activity minimizing bronchial spasms. It contains wild oregano and spice extracts which boost immunity and support respiratory health.

OregaRESP is the product you must keep stocked in your medicine cabinet at all times. Take at the first sign of a cough or sinus infection. You will be blown away at how quickly it works! And, this product is safe for all ages (assuming you can get your child to swallow capsules).
Muccococcinum

Muco Coccinum
For over 11 years,
Muco Coccinum has been our most popular homeopathic remedy for prevention of flu and colds in adults and children. Why? It's so easy to take and so effective. Just dissolve one tablet under your tongue once a week for prevention.

How does it work?
Muco Coccinum is a homeopathic medicine that gently activates the body's natural defense mechanisms to protect itself from contracting the flu-bug. So, when you start to get achy and feel the sniffles coming in, don't think "oh, no, I've got the flu!" Instead, take 1 tablet of Muco Coccinum every 3 hours until symptoms subside. You can still prevent a full onset of flu-like symptoms!

Immune Support Kit for Kids
When you have young children or infants, the over-the-counter medicine aisle is a scary place. Read just a few labels and you will realize that many medications Immune Support Kit for Kidscontain ingredients that should never go into your child's body, and do nothing more than mask the symptoms. The Immune Support Kit for Kids is the first and only completely natural liquid nutritional program formulated by a Homeopathic Pediatrician especially for infants & children. Take one of each product once daily for prevention during the flu season, or three times daily to treat existing infections to support the immune system.

Vitamin D
Vitamin D Synergy CapsDid you know that research suggests Vitamin D is better than the swine flu vaccine at stopping H1N1 infections? That's because Vitamin D deficiency is our country's newest epidemic, and our historically low levels of this vitamin are partly responsible for our flu outbreaks.

Vitamin D is a basic building block necessary for the a healthy, active immune system. And 90% of people in the US have a deficiency of Vitamin D! If you live in a cold climate any part of the year, or work indoors, you must take your vitamin D.

We ALL need to take a minimum of 1,000 IU of vitamin D per day or get 30 minutes of direct sunshine with no sunscreen 3-4x a week (and four times more for those with dark or black skin). Vitamin D deficiency is compromising your ability to fight off the flu!

The solution? Vitamin D Synergy will be an important weapon in your arsenal against the flu. Taken once daily, it will help activate your immune system to respond to any viral infection (not just H1N1 or the seasonal flu).

Protein Snacks
UltraLeanSnacktime can actually be a great time to boost your immune system with one of our UltraLean Gluco Support Bars. This protein bar contains vitamins to support healthy neurological and cognitive function. Better yet, they come in a variety of yummy flavors: Chocolate, Peanut Butter Crunch, and Mocha. The Crispy Rice UltraLean Gluco Support Bar is particularly popular!

Garlic
garlic7000
Garlic has long been used medicinally. It is known for its antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties and can prevent infections from taking hold and spreading. A daily serving of two raw garlic cloves will provide you with the bulbous herb's healthy benefits. Better yet, avoid the socially unpleasant aspects of garlic by using Garlic 7000
. Its special coating allows release in the small intestine instead of the stomach. Burping of garlic odor is virtually eliminated!
