Best Product for Excess Cortisol Production

Q.
Can you recommend a product that helps reduce excess cortisol production?

A.
If you have excess cortisol production, I have two recommendations.

AdrenoHS-SOD by BioGenesis. Please be aware this product has 20mg of lithium in it. Lithium is often prescribed by physicians for depressive disorders, headaches, and hyperthyroidism in higher amounts. But this is a low amount, it is not the same level as used in medications, however, there can be some interactions with some medications. If you are on any medications, please let me reference the medications you are on to make sure there would be no negative interactions you should be aware of when taking this product.

Catecholecalm by DFH. This helps balance cortisol and balance catechholemines, and is lithium free.

What is the best remedy you can recommend for my husband's high blood pressure?
Q. What is the best remedy you can recommend for my husband's high blood pressure?

A. The best natural remedy for high blood pressure is diet, exercise, Arginine and Taurine (amino acids). They are very safe and effective. You can read more about them here:

Arginine: take 3 per day between meals for optimal absorption.
Taurine: take 2 per day between meals.

Does he take an Omega 3 supplement and a good multi-vitamin? If not, I highly recommend you add these into his program. The DFH Complete Multi is excellent.

Once his blood pressure has stabilized, he can cut down his dose of amino acids. The best kind of exercise for high blood pressure is yoga, tai chi, pilates, weight lifting, and walking.

His diet should focus on reducing or eliminating sugar and refined or processed foods (anything packaged or with a bar code), and focus on healthy protein (fish, chicken, lean meat—organic is ideal), and daily vegetables or salads. High potassium foods such as dark green vegetables help lower blood pressure naturally. (broccoli, Arugula, spinach, kale, cabbage, salad greens, cauliflower, carrots, etc)
