HLC Mindlinx for Gluten and Casein Allergies

Q.
Is HLC Mindlinx used in the treatment of gluten and dairy allergies? Is it possible to reverse these allergies?

A. Yes, HLC MindLinx is used as a probiotic when someone has a sensitivity or allergy to dairy & or gluten. In many cases of people who are truly and severely allergic to these proteins, they may never resolve. However, many people often develop a sensitivity to these proteins, and this often occurs when these foods are frequently consumed on a daily basis, often in large quantities. This is different than a true IgE mediated allergy, this is known as an IgG mediated delayed hypersensitivity.

When these foods are left out of the diet for a period of time, and the gut has time to heal (often with the help of gut healing nutrients and herbs), some people can resume incorporating them in their diets in small quantities on a rotation diet basis.

HLC MindLinx does helps line the gut with strains of organisms that help degrade these proteins when they are ever ingested, therefore these proteins are not as likely to create such an extreme immune response and the body is better able to properly digest them.

Any ill affects from Whey Cool Protein if I'm lactose intolerant & have Colitis?
Q. Can you tell me how Whey Cool Protein by Designs for Health product would affect a person who is lactose intolerance or someone who has colitis?

A. Depending on your level of lactose intolerance, you may be able to take Whey Cool. Many of my lactose intolerant clients (including my husband) take it and do fine. You can always take your lactase enzyme supplements before having Whey Cool if you seem to have a problem breaking it down.

As for colitis, Whey Cool can be soothing and reparative to the GI helping your colitis. I recommend you add in 1 Tablespoon of Fish Oils each day to reduce the inflammation from your colitis. Fish oils are very powerful for this condition.

Please read here about the research on benefits of Omega 3s and colitis.

Does any HLC product contain milk/dairy/lactose, even in trace amounts?
Q. I am extremely sensitive to milk/dairy/lactose, even in trace amounts. Do the HLC Products (High Potency, Intensive, and Mindlinx) contain any of these?

A. HLC Intensive Probiotics have NO dairy anything contained in them. You are safe to take them. In fact, you may even notice a slight reversal of your sensitivity since they will vastly aid in digestion and breakdown of difficult to digest particles.

Suggestion for my son who gets hives & vomits when eating any dairy product?
Q. My son has severe dairy allergies, and I am trying anything to make any improvement in the severity of his reactions. He gets hives and vomits immediately if he accidentally ingests even trace amounts.

A. HLC Mindlinx has helped so many kids with casein sensitivity. It also sounds like he may have a lactose problem (as well as casein). And based on his history having Eczema, it sounds like he also probably has problems digesting gluten.

I suggest using Serenaid enzymes with any meal suspected of dairy or gluten contamination. It is a specialized enzyme product which helps with breakdown if dairy and wheat, as well as general digestion. In addition, an omega-3 would definitely be beneficial. For omega-3's, try a pure fish oil like Pharmax Finest Pure Fish Oil, or give him more omega-3s through free range organic eggs and low mercury fatty fish. Coconut oil can help with gut healing and reduce yeast growth. It can be mixed into any foods or smoothies and used in cooking.
