Respiratory
TLU Pneumo Complex provides antioxidants, synergistic herbs, and lung tissue extract, formulated specifically to stimulate, support and detoxify the upper and lower respiratory tracts. Studies show that vigorous, constant oxygen metabolism in the lungs is crucial to maintain optimum cellular levels throughout the body, and it can be impaired by the inhalation of hydrocarbons, exhaust fumes, and by ineffective treatment of chronic respiratory disorders, and poor diet and stress.TLU Pneumo Complex is indicated to protect the lungs from environmental toxins such as cigarette smoke and heavy metals; and for conditions associated with respiratory infections such as asthma, pneumonia, chronic bronchitis, whooping cough and emphysema. The capsules are 100% pure vegetable-sourced.

BSE is one of a group of diseases known as transmissible spongiform encephalopathy (TSE) that affects the nervous system of cattle. Although BSE-infected cattle may be suspected based on clinical signs and symptoms, a diagnosis can only be confirmed by microscopic examination of brain tissues taken from the deceased animal. Scientists believe that the spread of this disease in cattle is caused by feeding material from infected cattle or sheep back to other cattle. Both the Canadian Food and Drugs Regulations and the US Code of Federal Regulations have identified Specified Risk Materials (SRMs) as ingredients that have an increased risk of BSE. Currently Seroyal uses two such ingredients, pituitary and hypothalamus. However, these two ingredients are only identified as specified risk materials if they come from cattle aged 30 months or older. We receive documentation with each lot certifying that these ingredients are derived from cattle less than 30 months of age at the time of slaughter, therefore reducing the potential for BSE contamination, as TSE infectivity accumulates in bovine animals over an incubation period of several years. As well, these ingredients are sourced from Argentina or New Zealand bovine, countries identified by the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) as having negligible-BSE risk.
